NOEN EUBANKS wasn't the most wealthiest person. nor was he the most poor person. he was a little below working class but not poor. so when highschool came around he knew he wouldn't be able to transfer to any boarding school for the rich kids , he wouldn't ever been able to visualize himself anywhere near a boarding school.
before he knew it, he was in the principals office who was now handing him a scholarship to 'edgewood academy of arts and academics'. she sat down to talk to him about how he is basically too smart for the school and how she had never handed anyone a scholarship that easily.
after that short "meaningful" conversation it hit noen that he would now be attending the most popular big academy in los angeles. wow. that was all that noen could say. when he told his very supportive parents about the news they were so happy and proud of their boy.
little did he know is that the scholarship will change his life forever.
