The minute she dropped a tear for him, her feelings faded away, now it felt as though she never loved him at all

The minute she dropped a tear for him, her feelings faded away, now it felt as though she never loved him at all.

"Lets your delusions tell you the grass is greener on the other side" but she knew from the beginning the fault was hers, for settling for someone who was too blind to see the value of gold.

And when she closed her eyes all she felt was regret "how shallow to think that love alone was enough" for love was the only thing that kept her with him.

"He dropped gold for a pebble" because she was not his gold to love and value to begin with. She was a queen and he couldn't handle a queen, so he settled for peasant such as himself.  ...! 

She wandered down the lane of regret and unhappiness, lost in confusion and  desolation. "And do not hide away from you demons" Your strength doesn't come from how many times you are pushed to the ground, It comes from how you push yourself back up and face your demons regardless....

So she picked herself up and washed away the dirt, she engrossed herself in poetry, knowledge and art and soon she could see the light again.
