This all feels wrong to her and him. They felt like something was wrong and that it wasn't just a feeling. They had a strong feeling that something bad was gonna happen whether they like it or not. And the feeling was stronger than any other intuition they've had before.

They knocked on the door and entered the spacious office. "您好" they both said. "Have a seat" she said and they both got seated. "So... why are we here?" Zhengting asked, trying to break the silence. "Take a look at this" the CEO said, handing them an iPad showing the recent idol news which was extremely hot.

The two stopped reading and look at the CEO. "Why didn't you tell me this? I can't confirm this to the public, you're breaking up. The fans don't agree and so do I" she said. "But-" "No buts. That's final and I will tell the media that you're only friends and that is the end of the discussion" she cut off Xiangyuan and ushered the two outside of the office.
"Maybe it's for the best, maybe we're just wrong. Maybe we're not meant to be together" Zhengting said. "What? No, Zhengting please, I love you" Xiangyuan said. She was already tearing up and he just looked at her. "Goodbye, Xiangyuan" he left and she started bawling her eyes out.
She loves him and he loved her. Putting the past tense sure does hurt a lot when you dearly love someone and then they just throw you away. It's always so painful that way. She definitely felt that pain and she was unsure of loving anymore. "Come back... please" she whimpered.
Zhengting's POV
I may be a deep sleeper, but I can sense that something is wrong with the girl sleeping beside me. She was trembling and shaking and sweating and her eyes were teary. It took me a while to realize what was going on with her until I found out what, a freaking nightmare.
I woke her up to stop her from having that nightmare and luckily it worked. She snapped her eyes open and sit up straight as she pants heavily. She looked at me suddenly and threw herself to me, burying her face on my chest as she cried. I didn't know what to do so I just ran my hand across her hair and whispered soothing words to calm her down.
Her sobs subsided and soon she was just sniffling a little. "Bad dream?" I asked and she nods. "It's fine, I'm here now, and if you want I can make tea or hot chocolate or just pour milk to help you fall asleep again" I said. I would literally do anything to calm her down at this point. Well first of all she has to wake up early for the filming and mentoring.
Second, she needs to calm down. And third, I'm whipped for her and I'm her boyfriend so it's supposed to be my responsibility to comfort and calm her down. I won't complain about anything though, I love her and that's all that matters honestly.
"Hot chocolate" she said. I nodded and was about to tell her to stay here but she came with me to the kitchen. I let her do that and I started mixing the powder and all that. Jiahuan actually bought a huge jar full of chocolate powder since she's addicted to sweets and then we all started to make hot chocolate from it as well.
I started stirring the powder into warm water and once I'm done, I gave it to Xiangyuan who was sitting on the counter. "Thanks" she muttered and sipped the beverage. "What was your nightmare about?" I asked and she tensed. "It's okay if you don't want to-" "It's fine, you deserve to know anyways" she said.
She took a deep breath and started telling me about her nightmare. She was obviously so close to crying but she held herself together and continued on. "So your nightmare was me leaving you because of a damn rumor and hate comments?" I asked when she finished and she nodded at my question.
"Hey, listen here" I said and she looked at me. Her eyes were glistening due to the tears welling up as I started to speak. "You mean the world to me. And I know I haven't been with you for that long, it's just been a few days for God's sake. But I love you and I would never leave you because of something stupid like that. You got it?" I said.
"But what if you do?" Xiangyuan asked. She was scared, it was very obvious. I hated that sorrowful look on her face, the look that screams 'Please don't leave me, you're all I ever need and if you leave me, I just might kill myself'. It just hurts to see her in this state. I kissed her cheeks and said "I would never"
"Promise?" she held out her pinky for me to promise on. I smiled at her and wrapped my pinky around hers. "Promise"
