The Adventure Kids meet the Lion King

Chapter 2

Previously on the last chapter~

"Humans in the Pridelands!" a giraffe screamed in alarm. 

And the kids were all eaten by the lion. The End.....

JUST KIDDING!! HaHaHa! :D 

Back to what REALLY happened~

After the animals panicked finding out there were humans in the Pridelands, the adult male lion had noticed and came down from the rock to check this out. 

The kids prepared for the worst as the lion was coming down towards them. 

"Really wasn't expecting this sort of welcome" Cynthia whispered sarcastically towards Kali, blaming her for this whole thing. 

The kids were frozen in total fear as they were now face to face with a lion. 

He seemed to be observing the strange begins carefully, even sniffed them a little. Jacob came in front of the younger kids to protect them from what appeared to be this dangerous lion. 

The baboon then came down to have a look at the strange beings himself. He was just as curious as the lion. 

"Uhhh..." the adventure kids felt a little awkward as they were being examined all over by this nosy monkey, even touched in places they prefer not to talk about. 

The baboon was very much amazed by these creatures, having heard about them a few times before, knowing they were at least called humans. But there were still so many mysterious things about their species he still wanted to know. 

The baboon soon came back up to the lion and shook his head 'yes' to him for some strange reason, which made the kids give questioned looks to each other. The male lion looked relieved, then came up to the kids. 

It was silent as the two species just stared at each other. That is until the lion... spoke. 

"Who are you?" the lion asked the kids in a deep, demanding voice. 

The adventure kids were a little shooken up, until they managed to speak to the lion. 

"We're travelers, sir" Kali and Jacob started. 

"We got lost" Teeders and David continued. 

"We didn't mean any harm" the twins added. 

"Please don't eat us!" Cynthia begged before flinching as she closed her eyes, preparing for the end.  

The lion looked at the kids for a second, until the kids noticed the lion... smiled to them, warmly. 

He then let out a light chuckle. "Now why would I do that?" assuring the kids he wasn't here to eat them. He actually seemed quite welcoming towards them. 

"All is forgiven, young ones. Welcome to the Pridelands" the male lion gave a warm greeting to his visitors. "I am its king"

The kids were shocked, yet amazed at how a lion could rule the whole savanna. They didn't call them the kings of the jungle for nothing. 

"Well, it's nice to meet you..." Jacob said a bit awkwardly, still feeling a little uneasy that he was having a conversation with an apex predator. 

The baboon then spoke, coming up to the lion king's side as he laughed. "It has been a long time. This could be interesting" he was seeming to mention the kids.

"This is Rafiki" the lion introduced to the kids. "He's the Royal Mjuzi" 

Rafiki came up closer to the kids and held out his hand. Kali reached her hand out slowly and took the baboon's, as he seemed to know what a handshake was.
