max is usually too sleepy in the morning to wave off david n' gwen in the morning so they get away with ruffling his hair haha
he doesn't like falling asleep around people (trust issues oop-) but he trusts everyone at camp so he'll fall asleep around them. for the most part though, he only falls asleep in front of david, gwen, nikki, and neil
max, like every kid ever, falls asleep really easily in cars lmao. the bounce of the car just seems to lure him to sleep. but he hates doing it so he tries to hard to stay awake but david plays classical music n' he's out like a light. david or gwen have to carry him to his cot
he has to have a tent mate, the first year at camp he didn't have one for the first week n' he couldnt sleep ("this is where teens go to die in horror movies david !!!") david had to give him headphones to drown out the creepy noises until another camper came n' was bunked w/ max
