Unexpected journey

i left my home behind

to help others find their home

i left my warm chir and comfy bed

i left my garden and family

traveled over hills and through caves

walked through water

and told stories by firelight

i walked many miles

fought creatures i never knew exisited

i made enemys but i also made friends

i left my home to help reclaim another

i started this journey unaware

and i came back changed 

though woods i ran and trees i climbed

new lands i saw

and in caves i slept

in rain i roamed

and laughed along the way

rode upon eagles

and mountains i roamed

with a creature i riddled

and a town now destroyed

by boat we moved to a home once lost

up the stairs to the door

climbed one by one

by moonlight i found a keyhole

and down tunnles i treaded

over piles of gold i walked unseen

a dragon was resting now flew free

but an arrow was it's fate

and now a war loomed ahead

many lives were lost

my friends lost three

but i knew we were successfull

i help reclaim their gome

now must return

for my time has come

to go home

to my chair and bed

to my garden and family

but not everything was the same

i carried a burden not even i knew

i never forgot my adventure

because i went there and back again

in my life nothing unexpected ever happens

yet this is my unexpected journey
