Y/n's pov
Joe has been gone now for more than a week, he's been busy filming movies and shows. Joe and I always FaceTimed and Skyped when he was gone but he didn't ever answer my calls this time
I stood a few feet from the front door, watching it and glancing at my watch every few seconds.
10:09 pm
One more minute
How come one minute feels like hell. It feels like on the last day of school and you get stuck with the strict teacher last period so they won't let you talk to anyone, so you have to stare at the clock for the time to go by.
I looked back at my watch for the 15th time.
10:10
Ten minutes late.
"Y/n, give it a rest love. His flight could have taken longer than he thought" Lucy reassured me
"He's never late"
I sighed
"Come sit down" she smiled while patting the spot next to her on the couch.
"Let's just watch tv"
She smiled
"I bet Rami is never late"
I said not leavening my spot in front of the door.
"Rami isn't joe y/n"
She said getting up.
"You need to get some rest, I should probably go home anyway"
Lucy said itching the back of her neck.
"Yeah, ok"
I nodded heading upstairs, Lucy left and I changed my outfit into some pajamas, which where just my panties and joes T-shirt
I laid in my bed staring at the ceiling eventually falling asleep from the lack of energy available to me.

12:37 am
I laid on my side and felt a pressure on the waist. Joe was finally home.
"What time is it"
I asked
"Y/n, don't stress out just go to sleep"
He said while spooning me
"What time is it joe"
I asked again
"I'm not sure honey"
He said and kissed the back of my shoulder
"What time is it Joseph?"
Joe always gets scared when I call him Joseph.
"A-About 12:40"
He finally admitted
I sat up and looked down at him.
"You told be you would be home my 10"
I said folding my arms
"I know and I apologize"
He sat up next to me
"But I went to grab a drink with the boys"
"You didn't text me"
"I know darling, I know"
"Why?"
"Huh"
"Why must you put me in this fear? I thought you where dead or has gotten murdered joe!"
"Honey, I'm so sorry, and I love you baby"
He said kissing my forehead
