Book: I'll Give You The Sun
Author: Jendy Nelson
Why You Should Read: A book about secrets, siblings and love, this book is a perfect balance of all three and is a very promising read. Also, when I was reading the book, I originally thought that the author was creating too many problems to be solved by the end. Surprisingly, though, she managed to wrap it up quite well.
Description: At thirteen years old, Noah and his twin sister, Jude are super close. Noah draws constantly, Jude puts on red lipstick and kisses boys by the cove. Noah falls in love with the handsome boy next door, Jude cliff-dives and talks for both of them. But at sixteen, the two barely speak to each other, the result of secrets both keep from each other. Then when Jude meets a beautiful boy and a broken artist, things are about to change.
