Chaper 25

^Silvas Dress

Silva's POV:

It's been 3 months.

3 months of me in a small little hut on the beach in Bora Bora.

My stomach has grown a lot.

By a lot, I mean people can tell I'm pregnant.

I'm overdue for a check-up at the moment that doesn't matter.

I've been trying to find clues to bring me to Dax.

Anything to bring me to him.

And I've found nothing.

I've been trying to keep myself together but I'm slowly falling apart.

I put on my red bikini and went down to the beach.

I laid out a white towel and put on some sunscreen.

I try to let myself relax but I felt like I couldn't bring myself to.

I needed to find Dax.

As I let myself wonder my mind went to the repeated questions.

What if he's not alive?

What if he's dead?

I sat up and rubbed my belly.

Stress wasn't good for the baby.

I got myself up and headed back to the little hut.

I just needed to relax.

As I walked in and went into the kitchen.

I froze.

There was an invitation propped up with a rose beside it.

I walked over slowly looking around to see if anyone was there.

After doing a search of the small hut and finding no one.

I went back to the invitation.

I quickly open it.

'Dear Silva De Luca,

You are invited to the annual ball bring the rose as your invite.

The dress code is formal.'

I nod my head.

I quickly change into a tank top and spandex shorts.

I slip on my sandals and make the short walk to the mall.

As I walked I couldn't help but feel like I was being followed.

As I walked into the crowded mall, I quickly weaved through people to lose the person.

I kept my head down as I walked into a formal dress store.

As I walked in I looked behind me to make sure no one followed me.

To my surprise, nobody was following me.

I take a deep breath and start searching for a dress.

As I walked through I wanted something that would make me stand out.

I couldn't help but spot the purple/burgundy color dress.

A small smile pulled to my lips as I grabbed it and tried it on.
