In this AU, Riley is born sickly to the point of death so her parents somehow come into contact of the sorcerer, don't know how yet, and ask for help.
Sorcerer helps but at a price, obviously, that Riley works form him when she is old enough. So now she is his personal assassin and the Ninja's rival.
When she acts like a civilian, she tries her best to be normal and ends up coming to like Randy from his kindness.
Ninja starts to think his rival isn't as bad as he thinks so at times he tries to be friendly much to her confusion.
