>>>This gets slightly cringey but I didn't know of any other way to write it but trust me after this chapter it gets better again.<<<

"Well, we can finally do whatever! Blast music, smoke, and I get to use the TV whenever I want to! I don't have to watch Wendy Williams in the morning! I mean, she's queen but she can get annoying after a while." Michael cheered. "Michael is so gay." Rich thought. He was on the floor laughing at this point. "Stop it!" Michael giggled. Rich wasn't listening. He had lost the ability to breathe after laughing so much. Both of them were now on the floor laughing. "Ok, we need to actually do something other than laughing now." Michael said once he could breathe again.

"Well, what do you have to do? Card games sound fun." Rich said. Michael seemed to have a breakthrough. "We shall play the amazing, wonderful, and friendship breaking card game...Uno." He said. "You've been hanging out with Christine too much haven't you?" Rich asked. Michael stuck his tongue out at Rich, which made Rich laugh once again. They both sat down across from each other and Michael pulled out a deck of Uno cards and started to shuffle them.

They played for hours.e Playing +4 cards left and right, Rich almost flipped the table in anger, and lots of 'no u's were passed. "You wanna watch a movie or something?" Michael suggested. "Yeah sure." Rich replied.

They both hopped off of their chairs and sprinted to Michael's room. Michael hopped onto the floor in front of his bed while Rich laid down on top of the bed with his head hanging over. Michael quickly opened Netflix and turned on some movie from the 80s which Rich didn't mind. Michael's house, Michael's rules. Rich zoned out from the movie and all of his focus was on Michael. He couldn't help but laugh at Michael's laughing and quiet chuckles. For the first time in his life he was drawn to someone who basically picked him off of the street to give him a better place. There was no reason for Michael to do that. Rich even started to think that Michael shouldn't have. Rich had done nothing but bully Michael until he got rid of the Squip.

Rich couldn't stop himself from thinking of Michael. Michael had switched the movie 3 times before Rich realized he was losing it. "Rich, you haven't said a single thing and I've switched it from The Breakfast Club, to Mama Mia, and then to Infinity War. Are you ok?" Michael said. That got Rich back. "Hm, what? Oh, I uh, I'm fine." He mumbled clearly lying.

"Fucking liar." Michael said. "I'm not lying Michael. I'm truly fine." Rich said. He then looked away so Michael would look away too.

"Trust me, I know when someone isn't ok. Hell, I've been Jeremy Heere's friend for the past 12, almost 13 years. Tell me what's on your mind. You don't have to if you're not comfortable but I want to help you in anyway I can." Michael calmly said in Rich's ear. Rich went silent. He didn't know what to say and he wasn't ready to tell Michael that he might be falling for him. Yet, no one had ever cared that much about him until Michael strolled on by. "It's just that..no one has ever cared about me as much as you have. I don't know why you do. I've done nothing but bully you ever since I got the Squip. You know you don't have to do any of this, right?"

"Yes I do. I will do anything to make you feel better." Michael hugged Rich. "Thank you Michael." God damn it Goranski, that was your moment to say something like 'then will you be mine?' or some other kind of Hallmark Christmas love story type shit. Rich quickly hugged back and was not ready to let go.
