Tamaki turned around to the hosts' questioning glances.
"Who was that?" Kyoya asked cooely. Mori nodded in argeement, unspoken worry crossing his face. Even Honey-sempi looked up from his cake, innocent curiosity shining in his eyes.
Before he knew it, words were flying out of his mouth, "Oh just my docter! He said that he can prefore surgery to remove this annoying concious in my head. I dunno, he has like, black hair and obnoxious glasses, and he always reminds me of this imaginary thing called a budget?"
The clubmembers all laughed, even Kyoya.
"Seriously Tamaki, who was on the phone?" Kyoya said. Tamaki knew his curiosity, or more of a worry, wouldn't leave unless he answered, so he made something up.
"Ah, just my dad! He said I should stop by his office to job - shadow him for a bit." Well, it wasn't a complete lie. His dad did want him to start seeing the office and learning how to run the company, but Tamaki wasn't intreasted.
Harhuhi rolled her eyes and gestured to the ladies, who seemed eager to procceed with club activities. "Well, this conversation seems fun but I don't think our guests can take much longer without attention." Instantly Tamaki rushed to his guests, explicitly apologizing and turning on his charm, easily getting their forgiveness. As he turned around, he saw that Kyoya was giving him a look.
Darn him! Kyoya knew all of Tamkai's secrets, just as he knew all of Kyoya's. It was the equivilent exchange Kyoya needed in his life. It would also explain how Kyoya knows that his little phone - call wan't from his dad. "Why don't you tell him about your cancer?" a voice inside him said. Ugh. Now he remembers about that.
