An arranged marriage to a vampire: Why ME? (Chapter 9)

Heyy, I managed to sneak on the comp despite my punishment. I made it longer than other chapters.ALOT of drama will happen in here and there will be three different P.O.V.'s. Enjoy, fan, comment , and vote :D

Kathy's P.O.V.

"Ok, the license plate is 87C BY4. And they're in a limo." I told Snow.

She nodded. Then looked around the street. I spotted a limo. "Over there." I pointed.

She shifted over two lanes and sure enough I saw 87C BY4.

"Ooh, there it is." Snow said.

"Ok, now we follow it but keep our distance." I took in a deep breath.

Snow continued dancing to music way too loud. As soon as the song she liked ended, she turned it down so it was just background music.

She glanced over at me. "So what exactly are we looking to find here?"

I looked down at my lap then out my window.

"I think he's hiding something...something big. And for some reason he's afraid to tell me....so I need to find out myself."

"How bad could it be? I mean....he already told you he's a vampire. How much more could there be?" Snow mused. "Besides, if he's a cheater....you know I'll beat his ass!"

I stayed silent and kept my eyes on the limo. I didn't like the thought.

Then I looked at her and smiled a little at her assurance.

"I just...I know Damon. I know it sounds kinda stupid since I've onlyknown him a couple days but....I really don't think he's capable of cheating on me. I do know that he is hiding something though...." I trailed off.

After that, I turned up the radio, not feeling like talking anymore. I didn't really know the songs but I hummed to them anyway to clear my thoughts.

After about an hour and a half being on the highway, I saw the limo aim for the exit.

"Ugh, finally." Snow mumbled.

She followed and we went down the same street for about 5 minutes before turning into the familiar fancy neighborhood.

"Wow." Snow said. "They must be loaded!"

I sighed. "Yeah, they are pretty rich."

"So let me get this straight, you're engaged to a hot and rich vampire?"

I shrugged and blushed a little. "I guess you could say that."

"Well damn my life. You're so lucky!" Snow chimed.

The limo stopped in front of the huge and beautiful house I remembered and I told Snow to keep going and we'd find a way in through the back.

We parked the Mercedes in some random street and made our way to the courtyard area in the back of the house.

There was a big wall with vines everywhere. I looked up at it with fear.

Snow sighed. "C'mon I'll give you a boost."

She clasped her hands together and I placed my foot on there. From there I managed to get to the top and I shivered from the cool stone against my skin.

Less than a minute later, Snow was up as well. She jumped down to the other side and looked up at me.

"Don't be such a baby! C'mon." she whispered urgently.

I took a deep breath, shut my eyes, counted to three and jumped. I landed on my butt.

"Fuck." I mumbled under my breath. I got up slowly and rubbed my throbbing butt. That's gonna leave a mark.
