Cece stumbled trying to stay up. She felt the burn on her jawline and sighed, "I have worse scars." She looked back at Jay, "so I can gather that Audrey cursed me, but I was asleep, I don't really remember much except a lot of pain."
"Yeah, you were being poisoned even worse than your mother," Brooke said coming out of the trees with the rest of their comrades on her tail.
Cece rubbed her jawline again, "That explains the fake, well everything, and this stupid get up." She pulled at the white dress she was wearing. She looked back up at Jay, "and seeing as your creepy kiss saved my life, I will not be kicking you where the sun doesn't shine."
They noticed Jay's legs tense, "Thank you," he gave her a sheepish smile. She rolled her eyes and picked up the red ribbon that had made its home on the floor as the coffin dissolved. She handed to back to him, he smiled and tied back to his belt loops.

The boys kept calling out to Ben despite Brooke and Cece's warning, they decided to stop in a small clearing as Cece was still having a little trouble walking. "Man, these grow everywhere," Gil said making his way to a berry bush.
"No don't eat that!" Brooke jumped up smacking it out of his hand. Poor Gil fell back, Cece helped him up, "sorry but those are knockouts, the sleeping beauty berry, you'll be in a sleeping beauty like sleep only I don't think true loves kiss can wake you up from that. The ones on that bush are fine," she pointed to a bush at the other end of the clearing he nodded and walked over to the other bush.
"Hey, we should play that ice breaker," Hhe said with a grin. "Um Jay I like the way you can bounce around and jump off things and Brooke your hair is pretty," Carlos put a protective arm around Brooke, "These are free right?" he said holding up the Berry.
"Yes, Gil if it's in the wild its free. Except Ben he's a domestic animal" Cece joked making Jay, Brooke and Carlos laugh and Gil, CJ and Harry all raise an eyebrow.
"Yea um I like how you get a kick out of a berry bush," Jay said to Gil as his laughter subsided.
Gil seemed a little embarrassed, "I guess you've seen everything by now furry rocks, giant fish, you're probably used to grabbing lunch off of a bush."
Brooke looked at him with pure sadness. She had done that a lot when she was on Neverland. It was one of those things that just stuck with her as she forcibly grew up, so much so that she took it for granted. she would run out of the woods and grab a handful of berries and until recently she didn't really think about the fact that the kids on the isle couldn't do that. "It's okay we're gonna fix this, we're doing all we can right now," Carlos whispered to her. She leaned her head on his shoulder. Just a little longer, they just had to wait a little longer.
"No not really I mainly used the vending machines at practice, you know tourney kind eats up most of my time so...."
Harry started to laugh hysterically, CJ snorted and stuck her two-sense in, "Tourney? that's a wee boy's game."
"I'd be concerned if a little kid played tourney, Carlos gave Chad a concussion," said boy winced at the memory.
Gil light heartedly slapped Jay on the chest, "You know what would be fun; to go rafting on a jungle river."
"Oh, find a list civilization."
"Oh, and maybe a penguin!"
"Actually, you see those more on big ice bergs, but yea I'd love to see one of those," it's like Jay was realizing for the first time that he was truly free. It was finally sinking in that he could actually do all that.
Harry groaned, "You guys are killing me."
Brooke scoffed, "like you didn't get excited when you snuck off the ship to explore with me and the lost boys."
