Chapter 18

-1 month later-

I wake up and go take a shower. When I get out I put on a Clickbait shirt, some black shorts, black Vans, and David's Chipotle hat.

DaveMan: are you wearing my hat?

Paidoh: yes and why are you up? It's 6AM in LA.

DaveMan: because I am.

Paidoh: David...

DaveMan: fine cause I wanted to make sure everything was okay. I miss you guys

Paidoh: we miss you too and everything's fine

DaveMan: okay. I'm gonna go back to bed.

Paidoh: okay

I turn off my phone and throw it onto my bed. I walk out of the room and am immediately tackled by Danny.

"What do you want weirdo?" I ask.

"Nothing." He says rolling off of me.

I groan and he gets up smiling.

"Fat ass." I mumble.

He helps me up and walks away.

"Wait Danny!" I yell.

"What?" He asks turning around.

"Is mom working today?" I ask.

He nods his head.

"Why?" He asks.

"I need you to watch the kids." I say.

"Okay." He says walking away.

I go into Hailey's and Canyon's room and kiss both of their foreheads before grabbing my phone and wallet.

I go get in my old car that is here and drive to the hair salon.

When I arrive there, I park my car and head inside to the front desk.

"Hi, I have an appointment with Richie at 10:45. My name's Paisley Gonzalez." I say.

"Oh hi Paisley. Richie will be ready shortly." The person at the front desk says.

I nod my head and go sit until Richie comes to get me.

"Paisley Gonzalez. It's been a while." Richie says smiling at me.

"Yeah. I moved to Los Angeles for like 5 years." I say as we walk to his station.

"Wow. Okay, what color do you want?" He asks.

"Um, whatever you want." I say.

Richie squeals in excitement as I say that.

"I have the perfect color in mind." He says.

"Sweet. So any new love interests?" I ask smiling at him.

"Oh, there's this one guy named Jay." Richie says blushing.

"He's a lucky guy." I say.

Richie smiles at me and he starts dying my hair.

At the end, he dries my hair and turns me around to look at the mirror.

I see my medium length hair that was now a deep red and squeal.

"I love it Richie!" I exclaim.

"I knew you would." He says smiling at me.

I wrap my arms around his neck and he wraps his around my waist.

I let go and look at him.

"Thank you so much." I say.

"Anything for you." He says.

I go pay and wave goodbye to Richie. He waves back and I head out to my car and drive home.

I make it home and open the front door. I'm immediately attacked by Hailey.

"Hi Hailey." I say hugging her.

"Hi momma. Guess who's here." She said wiggling out of my arms.

"Who?" I ask.

"Surprise!" David exclaims jumping out from around the corner.

I scream and then laugh. He helps me up and hugs me. Ellie walks out next and hugs me too.

"Hey Paisley." Jeff says walking out too.

"Hi Jeff." I say.

He comes over to me and wraps his arms around my waist. I wrap mine around his neck and hold him tight.

"I missed you." He whispers.

"I missed you too." I whisper.

"Can we not be separated anymore?" He asks.

"I still haven't forgiven you for what you did." I say with a sigh.

"I'm really sorry though. I miss waking up with you in my arms. I fucked up, I know that, and what I did shouldn't deserve to be forgiven, but please. I need you." He says with pleading eyes.

"I'm still not sure. How long are you guys staying?" I ask them.

"Um, like a week. Your parents said it was fine." David says.

"Okay. Jeff, I'm giving you a week to prove that you should be forgiven." I say looking at him.

"Thank you so much." He says smiling at me and hugging me.

"No problem, but you better not fuck this week up either." I say glaring at him.

He lets go of me and smiles again.

"Do you guys wanna go swimming?" I ask.

"Can we go swimming tonight?" Ellie asks.

"Yeah." I say.

"Sweet. This is gonna be a good week." David says.

-later that night-

My mom, Danny, and the kids are all asleep and the rest of us have been in the pool for about an hour.

"We're gonna get out." David says getting out with Ellie following.

The walk inside after drying off leaving me and Jeff.

He swims over to me and wraps his arms around my waist.

"I miss being able to hold you like this." He mumbles.

I grin slightly as I rest my head against his shoulder.

I wrap my legs around his waist. I feel his lips against my neck.

He slowly starts to take off my top and finally does throwing it off to the side.

He moves up to my lips and kisses me gently.

"I missed this so much." He mumbles.

He pulls away and looks at me. He kisses me again but we're shortly interrupted by someone.

"Ew. What the fuck?" Danny asks rubbing his eyes.

"Danny get the fuck back inside." I say.

"How about you two get your asses back inside." He says.

"Danny, I'm older than you. I can tell you what to fucking do." I say.

"Whatever. Just put your top back on. I did not need to see that." He says rolling his eyes as he walks back inside.

I let go and put my top back on. I get out of the pool and dry off.

Once I finish I head inside and so does Jeff.

We put on our pjs and he walks into my room.

"Can I stay in here?" He asks.

"Sure." I say yawning.

I flop onto my bed and pull the covers over me.

He turns off the light and trys to walk over to my bed. I hear a thud and him say ow. I laugh slightly and he gets back up making it to the bed this time.

He climbs in next to me and wraps his arms around my waist.

"I still love you." He whispers before I fall asleep.
