It got pretty late over at Bens so I told his bye and left heading back to my dorm. I opened the door and saw Chad asleep on his side of the room, I changed into my sleep gear of sweat shorts and a long sleeve shirt and laid into bed. My nerves were pretty bad at the moment, I couldn't get tomorrow out of my head. The championship tourney game was coming and I was nervous.
I sighed "I need a snack" I got out of bed and walked down to the kitchen seeing what they had in there. When I walked in to my surprise, Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos were in there. They were making something, cookies maybe?
"Hey guys, making cookies?" I asked them and they all jumped
"Elian, hey. What are you doing here?" Carlos asked me
"Just getting a midnight snack, can't sleep. Bad nerves" I found an apple and took a bite of it, I saw a book next to Mal and got curious so I picked it up
"No" Mal tried to stop me but it was too late, I already had it. They looked scared but I didn't know why, I read the page out loud
"A love spell and a list of ingredients, guys who's this for?" I asked looking between the 4 of them but nobody said anything
"Mal is this for Ben?"
"I-" she stopped before she even started
"Please let it be for Ben, I can't stand Audrey" I put the book back down and sat on top of the counter
"Really?" Evie asked me
"Yes, I don't even believe she really likes him. I think she just wants to be queen so by all means spell him"
"Really, so you aren't mad?"
"Of course not, all I ask is that you do eventually lift it. If he ends up liking you it needs to be by his own judgement, after if he doesn't wanna be with you then you'll just have to live with it. Deal?" I looked at Mal and she smiled
"Deal" I smiled and hopped of the counter walking towards the door
"Alright, goodnight guys. Jay be ready for tomorrow" he nodded with a smile as I left the kitchen and went back up to my room. I got back into my bed, I still had a bit of trouble falling asleep but eventually I was able to •••
I woke up from my sleep and the first time my mind went to was the tourney game today, the championship tourney game. The most important game of the season was here and it was time to show up and show out, led by Ben and co-led by Chad and myself I'm sure we'd win. I got up and started getting dressed as school was about to start in 30 minutes and I didn't want to be late, I also had that big test today in one of my classes so there's that too.

After getting fully dressed and ready to go that's exactly what I did. I left with all my things and headed to my locker, I looked around at the people around me aka the girls and they all looked slightly better than normal. I wonder why though? Maybe it was the doing of magic? I doubt it, fairy godmother didn't allow much magic so it had to be something else. I looked up from my locker and saw Lonnie coming my way, she was looking down at an open book as she walked
"Lonnie hey" I smiled as she looked up from her book walking to my locker
"Hey Elian, what's up?"
"Nothing, just wondering who did your hair. It's nice"
"Thanks, Mal did it for me"
"What those girls over there, did Mal do that too?" I pointed over towards the group of girls sitting on a bench laughing
"Yep, she's not as bad" I nodded, Lonnie told my she had to go so I waved to her as she left. I shut my locker walking around the corner but in the process I bumped into someone knocking out everything in the persons hand
"Oh man I'm so sorry I didn't see you" I bent down and picked everything up and saw the person I bumped into was Evie, I got back to my feet and gave her back everything with a smile
"Oh hey Evie, you look great" she giggled taking everything she dropped
"Thank you Elian" she twirled her blue hair and sorta bounced around a bit
"Hey, you're coming to the tourney game tonight right?"
"Of course, Jay is playing"
"Well maybe if you're not opposed to it we could hangout, maybe after. Totally up to you, if you don't then I understand" she looked at me not saying anything, it lead me to believe that she was about to say no I was just going to leave before she could
"You know what never mind, it was a mistake to ask" I was starting to walk away but she grabbed my hand
"I would love to" I couldn't hold my smile back
"Alright cool, well I gotta go now or else I'll be late. See ya later" I waved and she did too, I was really starting to like her. I walked until I got to my first class as the day finally began

The school day was over and the tourney game was only an hour away, I sat in the locker room getting my uniform on because the team usually warmed up before every game. I couldn't stop my leg from shaking uncontrollably, god my nerves were terrible at the moment. Someone walked by fast then came back walking backwards
"Elian hey, what are you still doing in there. The team is already warming up on the field" Carlos sat down next to me with his shield and helmet in hand
"Yeah um I'm just trying to get my head right and into the game" he smiled with a little chuckle
"That is understandable but you won't be able to do that sitting in here, come warm up with us. That'll definitely help you" I thought about it for a second and realized Carlos was right, I smiled at him and got up. He put his arm around my shoulders so I did the same as the both of us walked out onto the field to warm up.
After a few minutes of warming up the game was about to begin, Auradons side was filled with students wearing blue yellow and white and the other side, Sherwood's side, repped their school with green and yellow. Jay stood at the front line waiting for the ball to drop as the game kicked off.

WE WON, WE WON. I jumped around on the field hugging Ben as he hugged me back. We worked so hard for this and we finally did it, I walked over to Jay and hugged him too. He was the one who set up the play for Ben to score, and Carlos. Where's Carlos because he helped Jay help Ben, the whole team celebrated in a huddle as our school cheered loudly for us. We held up Jay because he was the MVP as he held up the championship trophy. I smiled and waved to the crowd, I saw Evie looking at me with a smile which made me really happy to see
"Everyone I have something to say" someone said through the microphone, I turned around and saw Ben standing on the guard post with the mic in hand. We all looked at him waiting for him to say whatever it was he had to say
"Give me an M" we gave him an M
"Give me an A" we gave him an A
"Give me an L" we gave him an L
"What that's spell?" Ben asked the crowd
"MAL"
"I love you Mal, did I mention that?" Woah, I saw Audrey run off somewhere but I could only laugh. I guess they put the spell on him after all
