The ride to the cafe was short though, pleasant. You talked about all sorts of things. You found out he has a dog named chopper with an Blue colored nose. Marco found out that you had a cat name Furcules*. You quietly bragged about being quite clever for his name to be a play on words making the blonde snort. You also found out Marco and you have similar music taste. He denies it but, you caught him humming quietly to himself at his favorite parts.
Pulling into the parking lot you saw the Cafe, small and tidy looking. It wasn't even busy which made it even better. It had outside seats, this factor excited you the most.
Marco unfortunately had his AC blasting the whole time in the car. Even though you were freezing, you didn't you didn't say anything at all."So how about I get the coffee and you find some seats yoi?" Marco hummed as he opened your door for you to exit.
"That sounds great, I hope you don't mind sitting outside" you chirped at the blonde with a smile.
His lazy eyes rested on you, a soft grin forming on his face,
"sounds great yoi."
With Marco headed inside, you took action in finding the seats. It didn't take long picking the perfect spot.
A table that sat four with an even amount of shade and sunshine. Marco still hadn't come out from the cafe when something caught your eye...you saw someone who looked rather familiar.
A boy with black hair and freckles, his hand hovering over his eyes like he was searching for something. The cafe door rang as it hit the bell, Marco had finally came out, two coffees in his hands and a bag of pastries tucked under his arm carefully.
Marco strolled up to the table watching you stare off behind him. He raised a brow taking a quick look over his shoulder to see nothing expect empty seats and a few birds that were pecking at the ground. He cleared his throat snapping you out of your train of thought.
"OH Sorry Marco" you nervously spluttered,
"I uh thought I saw someone that I've seen before but, I guess not" you finished giving Marco a grin.A small smile rested on his face as he sat down in the seat across from you, placing a cup of coffee in your reach and the pastries between each other
"Don't worry about it, maybe it was someone from work yoi?" Marco questioned.
"Oh no no, it was a kid it looked like he was searching for something" you replied as you picked up the coffee giving it a sip, "oh wow- this is nice"
Marco nodded his head picking up his own cup giving it a swig,
"Hope you don't mind that I ordered you my usual yoi"
he took a another sip before setting his cup down picking up the bag opening it to revel two danishes,
"maybe it's a kid that you see at work?" Marco asked as he took a bite of his pastry. You tapped your chin with a finger thinking of it, setting your coffee down picking up your own pastry,
"oh no I don't mind at all"
taking a small bite of the warm danish covering your mouth with your hand as you spoke,
"the kid was at least in high school, he had freckles and cute shaggy black hair."Taking your eyes off Marco to look up at the sky for a moment. When Marco heard what you said he immediately choked on his danish. Eyes zipping straight back to Marco, you quickly swallowed, eyes wide as you shot up, abandoning your chair to help pat the poor man on the back.
"Are you okay?!" You exclaimed worriedly picking his coffee up and handing it to him so it would help the pastry go down some. God you're killing him, you're killing him on the first date too.
