Charging into the night

It was early morning and I was already in my uniform ready to work. I went out to the lobby with my clipboard "Johnny, Mr Baumer said he needs you to round up five staff members for some overtime" I said looking up too see an empty front desk "Johnny?" I ask I go into the staff changing rooms and see a big mess and no staff I immediately run to get Andrew.
"Mr Baumer the staff are skipping work no one's in the lobby and the change rooms are a mess" I told him
"Oh no they don't, come with me" Andrew said running off I followed. He was in such a rush he knocked over wipeout
"get out of the way fish" Andrew said
"I'm a mammal a mammal dam it" Wipeout said only for me to knock him over again
"Sorry" i call out but not stopping running.

We caught them just in time
"stop do not enter the water" Andrew said
"So busted" Broseph said
"I have a job for you get changed and meet me in the loby" Andrew told them before nearly passing out from exhaustion. I helped him back up and got him to the couches in the loby to rest. I noticed the purple and black decor and all the nerdy stuff
"oh no" I said as Lo and Emma entered the loby
"the sci-fi convention is back" Lo and I said simultaneously.

"Welcome to geeks are us, head of big nerd council, dork fleet admiral, nerd eye master this is just sad" Reef said looking at some cards while Johnny set up a table for signings
"I like sci-fi movies" Finn said there was a awkward silence
"What they're cool it's the fans that creep me out" Finn said handing bags to Lo and Emma
"And your on mini space ship duty" Finn said
"Bummer nabbed you too huh?" Johnny asked
"Yeah somone alerted him" Lo said glaring in my direction
"Lo this is our hotel one of us is going to own it one day and while we are working here it is our duty to come in on time and do as we're told" I said
"Alex is right and don't call me Bummer now enough chatting back to work" Andrew said
I went to make sure all the guests where happy.

LO'S POV
I sighed as my sister walked off such a goody two shoes.
"Do you ever wonder like really stop and wonder if this job could get any worse" Johnny said
"I haven't had a good surf session in three days" Reef complained
"Seriously we didn't come out here to work why can't we do this at night when we can't surf" Fin said
"That's it" Reef said accidentally tripping Finn
"You spilled all my little space ships" Emma said picking some out of Finns hair
"Bummer may own her days but we own our nights and tonight we are getting our surf on" Reef said I looked at him like he's crazy because he is.
"That's great exept for one small thing it's dark at night brainiac" Finn said
"Even im not crazy enough to surf waves i can't see" Broseph said
"And that's what the floodlights are for! 8pm on the beach be there" Reef said
"Surfing under the stars maybe we can build a bon fire" Johnny said
"Ooh that will be so romantic maybe ty will come" Emma said I made a disgusted face her love for my brother is sick.
"one question why are we going to do about bummer he never leaves this hotel is his life" Finn said
"Dude needs a vacation or a girlfriend" Brospeh said
"Don't forget my sister will rat us out to him the moment she catches on" Lo said
"That's it we will set bummer and Alex up on a date" Reef said
"Ew no I'm not letting my sister date bummer" I said disgusted he would even suggest that
"Come on they are both neat freaks, both love this hotel and both love surfing they are made for each other" Emma said
"She is totally in love with him has been for years, I guess it's ok for one night but there is a problem she's to shy and nervous she won't ask him out" i said
"How are your sweet talking skills?" Reef asked
"I don't know but your hair is looking so good today handsome" I said sweet talking him
"Your Good i have a Mission for you" Reef said

BUMMERS POV
I was typing on the computer trying to get all the guests booked in
"Wow you look stressed" Emma said
"Yeah you could say that the clingons Don't want to be on the same floor as the romulims and no one wants to be anywhere near the board" I explained
"Maybe this isn't a good time" Lo said
"Come on we promised her" Emma said
"Wait promised who what?" I asked confused
"Well there's this girl she's really pretty and super sweet and she has a major crush on you" Lo said
"What for real?" I asked shocked that anyone would take an interest in me
"Oh yeah she can't stop talking about you" Emma said
"But we told her you are way to busy and important to go on a date" Lo said
"She's going to be crushed" Emma said
"I guess I could you know squeeze her in" I said playing it cool even though I was really excited
"Tonight eight o'clock at the peer she's be holding a red rose" Lo said
"And so will you" Emma said handing me a rose. I stood there for a good half an hour contemplating what I should wear and who this girl may be.

ALEXANDRAS POV
I was talking to a guest when my sister showed up with Emma
"Hey Alex what are you doing tonight" Lo asked
"Nothing much probably just watch a movie and go to bed" I said truthfully
"What would say if we could get you a date with Andrew" Lo asked
"Lo you didn't.." I said blushing from embarrassment
"We did but he doesn't know it's you" Emma said
"eeeh you are the best" i said hugging them both
"Tonight eight o'clock at the peer hold this" Emma said.

That afternoon after work I was frantic going threw my closet and trying outfits on luckily Andrew had overtime to he didn't see me doing this. I finally picked a nice dress

i did my hair in a half up half down hairstyle and put some nice makeup on. I felt really nervous like i was going to be sick as I walked to the whale bus.
"Alex you look...beautiful" Andrew said making me blush lightly
"Thank you Andrew" I said
"So where are you going tonight" he asked
"Just out" I lied
"Can I sit next to you?" Andrew asked
"Sure" I said

Soon we were in town I went straight to the peer and stood on the edge looking at moon my hair blowing in the wind. Andrew showed up a few minutes later
"Alex...your my date" Andrew said shocked I frowned oh no he dosent like me
"I'm sorry if your disappointed Andrew I honestly knew it was you before I have wanted to go on a date with you for years...if your don't want to that's ok" I said
"Are you kidding me your the prettiest girl I've ever met and we have a lot in common I'm just shocked you would want to go on a date with somone like me" Andrew said.

We went to a nearby restaurant and I ordered some pasta. We are in silence for a bit then he smiled
"how is your meal?" Andrew asked
"Really nice actually what about yours?" I asked
"Delicious, should we get dessert?" He asked
"I like the way you think" I said we order a piece of cheesecake to share which was delicious then it came time to pay Andrew got out his wallet
"No no I'll pay" I said
"But the guy normally pays" Andrew said
"True but what good is a multi million dollar fortune if you can't use it" I said getting out my bank card and paying for the entire bill. We then went for a walk along the beach on the way to the beach he stopped at a jewelry shop.
"Just a little present to remember this night" Andrew said I opened the box and saw a heart necklace
"It's beautiful" I said putting it on
"Not and beautiful as you" Andrew said i kissed him
"I know I can get fired for this but I don't even care" Andrew said deepening the kiss.

By the time our walk was finished it was time time to go back to the hotel. Kahuna was obviously stalling but Andrew figured it out and we got back earleir then exepcted.
"Anything happen while we were gone?" Andrew asked
"No it's been really quiet" Johnny said
the lights went out
"Let me guess night surfing reefs idea" i said
"Yep" Johnny said
"Your Lucky im in a good mood you can have a strike instead of being fire down now go fix the lights I'm going to bed" Andrew said
"I am too" I said yawning
"I'm guessing the date went well" Lo said
all I could do is smile
