Carlos, Gil, Gaige, Harry and Jay were following Dude through the forest, trying to find Ben, Anthony and Bane.

Carlos called out. "Ben! Anthony! Bane!"

Jay called out. "Ben! Anthony! Bane!"

Carlos sighed, needing a rest, sitting down, calling Dude over to him. "Dude. Come on. Nothing?"

Harry leaned against a tree, gazing off thoughtfully.

Gil was picking berries from a bush. "These just grow everywhere. Gaige, you gotta try some of these."

Gaige shook his head. "Pass. Thanks, Gil."

Gil nodded, turning to Jay. "Hey, we should play that icebreaker. Um, Jay, I like the way that you can bounce around and jump off things." He held up the berries that he was eating. "This is free, right?"

Jay walked over to Gil. "Yeah, um... I like how you get a kick out of a berry bush."

"I guess you've probably seen everything by now, huh?" Gil asked. "Furry rocks, giant fish, water places built by Scottish half-mermaids princesses Ara and Mari, who saved you, me and Gaige from being shark bait, magic schools built by half-mermaid Mari and a magic prince Bane, dorms built by Izzy and Yeva. You're probably used to grabbing lunch off of a bush."

Jay started to eat some berries, smiling a bit in amusement. "No. I mean, no, not really. I mainly just use the vending machines at practice. Tourney, helping Ara and Mari with Tails, Izzy and Yeva with the dorms, and Bane and Mari with the school kind of ate up most of my time, so..."

Harry started to laugh. "Tourney? That's a wee boy's game."

"What's going on with you, Harry?" Gaige asked. "You trying to play nice?"

"Hating every minute of it," Harry muttered.

"This about Izzy and her scepter and how hard she and Yeva have been working to get us all to get along?" Gaige asked.

Harry didn't answer, but the boys already knew.

Gil looked at Gaige and Jay. "Hey, you know what would be fun? To go rafting on a jungle river."

Gaige nodded. "Find a lost civilization."

Gil smiled. "Oh, maybe a penguin."

"Well, you'd find those more on like icebergs, but..." Jay trailed off, smiling. "I'd love to see one of those."

Gil offered Gaige some berries again, trying to get him to play nice too. "Gaige, come on."

Gaige sighed, giving in, starting to eat some berries, eventually trying to make an effort to make nice.

Harry walked over. "You guys are killing me." He looked at the berries that the boys were eating, using his hook to pick one off, holding the berry up on his hook to examine, before eating it right off the hook. He was pleased by how good the berry tasted, looking from Gaige and Gil to Jay in surprise. "Hmm."

Gaige looked at Carlos, nodding in the direction Dude ran off. "PS, your mutt went that way."

They heard Dude yell for him. "Carlos!"

Carlos stood, running off to find his dog. "Dude, what do you see?"

Gil, Jay and Harry all followed Carlos and Dude. Gaige was about to follow, but stopped, turning back to get some more berries to eat, then followed at a run.
