𝗖𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗘 ❝ 𝐖𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐃𝐄𝐑-𝐌𝐀𝐍 ❞
ARTEMIS AND MISTY steady themselves as Happy lands the plane in the middle of the street. Happy joins them as the three of them rush out of the plane. They weave through the crowd of civilians running around in the street. Misty finally catches a glance of Ned, Happy running towards the group of teenagers. Artemis and Misty can't afford to give up their identities, especially Misty herself.
"Ned!" Happy calls out to the young teenager.
"Happy!" Ned rushes towards him.
"I gotta get you out of here! Get on the jet." Happy shouts out. Misty and Artemis join Happy's side, the four teenagers looking at them in a stunned manner. MJ and Ned appeared relieved to see Misty standing behind Happy.
"Who are you guys?" Betty asked.
"We all work with Spider-Man. Now we need to get on the jet." Artemis said.
"Wait, you all work for Spider-Man? Wait, you're Frostbite!" Flash's eyes widened in surprise. Now was not the time for Flash to fanboy over meeting superheroes he admires.
"We work with Spider-Man not for Spider-Man." Happy corrects him.
"I don't think that matters right now Happy." Artemis mumbled. Suddenly, missiles target the jet as it bursts into flames. Misty focuses her powers, trying to put the fire out with her ice powers. However, her powers seemed drained. This was not the right time for her powers to go silent on her.
"I think we should run." Misty mumbled.
"New plan! Into the tower!" Happy shouts at the students. "Frostbite, Artemis. Watch our backs." Happy instructs them.
"Okay." the both said in unison as the group of them rush into the building to safety.
"Misty, Artemis, Happy are you all okay?" Peter's voice fills their comms.
"We're fine. Just get to Beck." Happy tells Peter. Explosions erupting in the distance, Misty noticing Peter swinging around and dodging attacks. The group of them run along the bridge heading towards the Crown Jewels vault. However, from a distance drones were making their way towards them. Artemis aims at one of the drones, shooting it with his cross bow while Misty destroys another with ice shards. They quickly followed Happy inside the vault.
Suddenly gun shots rain down on them, Misty and Artemis realising a drone managed to slip by them and entered the vault as well. Artemis takes aim, shooting at the drone only for him to miss. He quickly rolls out of the way as he dodges any shots from the drone. However, a bullet scrapes against his arm as a surge of pain runs through his body. He can shake it off. He's been through far worse than just a little scrape.
