Hirigana is used for words that aren't from other countries or have been a part of the Japanese language for years. The way I remember it is that if it doesn't sound like an English word it's probably hirigana.

Go- ごSo I know they are kinda difficult to see so if you want you can look online. Also there's an app that tests your hirigana, katakana and kanji called kanji teacher which I highly recommend also if I was you I would look at YouTube videos so you can learn the pronunciation of the letters just so you can be sure you are saying it correctly.
