The light was disturbing, it was so bright it penetrated my closed eyes, i could feel the warmth, gentle and encasing. Sun, thats what I thought, light and warmth, thats what its called, The Sun.
I kept hearing a sound whoosh, soft then louder, it was soothing and repetitive, whoosh,whoosh, whoosh. Waves, waves breaking on a beach thats what the sound is, waves, beautifully calm and serene. I took a deep breath and could taste the salty air, feel the grains of sand under my fingers, i felt at peace heavy and warm.
"Wake up" a distance whisper.
I coldness crept over me, a sense of dread and fear sank deep in my bones...
