After lunch Josh went to his locker to collect his books for History next period when all of a sudden someone slams his locker door shut.

"Are you asking out Diana to the Prom?" she asked sternly.

"Yea, why?" He said confused.

"You said you were going to go with me!"

"I said that 2 months ago, things change, Lisa!" He grabbed his books and started walking away.

Lisa following closely beside him.
"What the hell, Josh! That's so fucking low, even for you!"

"Wow, good one Lise!" He rolled his eyes.

"You'll regret that Josh!" She smirked confidently.

Oh he will regret it!

Ever since Josh started paying more attention to Diana, everyone else started to do the same.

Guys were constantly wanting to talk to her.

Girls gossiped about her, and they envied that!

Diana seemed to reach stardom in popularity.

She was no longer the introverted coward she used to be, with the help of Lisa of course.

Josh also seemed to be changing too. He was also shy around girls in his freshmen year, and was even a band nerd in 10th grade.

However, he decided that he wanted something in life...

For his parents to be happy with him.

His dad was a football coach back in his youth, and his mom went to law school in Harvard. She graduate and went on to be an associate for Robbin & Holmes Associates.

They wanted their kid to grow up to successful. They wanted their dream child after they loss their oldest daughter to Cancer a couple years back, they've never been the same.

Josh wanted everyone to be pleased with him. But that came with its problems too.
