II hated this
I hated this
I.hated.this!
Why out of all ways to get a wand must it be this way? Why out of all ways why this way? Don't get me wrong I did make a friend (Melody) but that's only because she hates this place as much as I do I should talk my dad into leaving the Hatters alone she honestly could be my first real friend who isn't a lost boy and is a girl! But I don't know how much I should trust her people stab people in the back I guess I should wait a little before I put all my trust in a girl I've known for a short period of time but I'm sure she's fine I mean me and her both want the downfall of this place maybe she can help me with the wand it will prove her trust but I can't tell her off the bat I'll have to wait before I fully reveal my plan I feel a presents behind me as I turn around assuming it's Melody there stood my dad
"Daddy?"
"Hi sweetie" he smiled
I ran up and hugged him
"I've missed you"
"I've missed you too so what do you got for me" he asks while breaking from the hug
"Well parent day should be the easiest day since everyone's parents will be out in the garden after classes I should be able to slip by and grab it"
"Well done sweetheart"
"One more thing daddy"
"Anything"
"Can we leave the hatter family alone I mean their daughter is very nice and I'll have a friend who's finally a girl"
"We'll see I should go bye sweetie"
"Bye Daddy" and just like that he was gone as soon as he was gone the door opened causing me to flinch Melody walks in
I can't believe I just asked my dad after everything I just agreed not to do
"Hey did you hear me?"
Melody's voice snaps me out of my thoughts
"Huh what?"
"I said everything good? You seemed off today?"
"Yeah yeah I'm good"
"Who were you talking to before I walked in?"
"No one just thinking out loud"
"Oh okay"
"Wanna go to the museum?" I ask trying to change the subject
"Sure let me change though kinda tired of this outfit"
"Might as well do the same I guess"
