hi , i'm Kim SeAh. a commoner in a country names Seoul. well , a lucky commoner since i have a really handsome and sweet boyfriend named Jung Jaehyun. we have been dating for quite awhile now but in secret because it will be bad for him. his career might be ruined.

he works as an idol. it's his dream. i'm glad he fulfilled it. i'm proud of him. but because of his dream , it meant we needed to sacrifice our time together for his work. to him work comes first now. and i don't blame him for that since he's under a well known company in a well known group. hearing him sing , watching him dance ; those were the only ways to see him.

videocalls and texts were risky since we never know who else have access to these. i mean , we do text and call but Jaehyun usually has no time or isn't able to do it because his manager is around or something. his members know about our relationship and promised to help keep it a secret. there was once i felt tired and almost wanted to break up with him but realised he was happy because of me just like how i was happy because of him.

we took a break from our relationship once and during that period , i felt so lonely. usually i could videocall Jaehyun there and fro but when we took a break , that wasn't possible. i still updated myself with whatever NCT was doing and Jaehyun was seen without a smile most of the time during our break. the sight of that pained me and made me ask him to end the break.

long distance relationship is suffocating and painful but if the love is strong enough , it can last. and that's the case for both me and Jaehyun.

today Jaehyun told me he is able to videocall me in the middle of the night since he finishes his schedules around that timing and will be at the dormitory by then. that meant i needed to stay up to wait for him , which is okay for me.

time skip~

i held my phone in my hand and waited for Jaehyun's call. it was currently 3am. just as i was about to doze off , my phone vibrated making me wide awake again. i smiled when i saw Jaehyun's name on my screen and picked it up right away.

"hey babe!" he waved through the phone. "hi!" i couldn't hide my happiness. "you look so tired , i'm sorry you had to stay up." Jaehyun sighed. "you look way more tired. you should rest quickly." i said. "before any of us pass out , i wanna tell you something." Jaehyun smiled excitedly. "what is it? i'm intrigued." i smiled too. "i'm heading to Paris tomorrow for an overseas schedule." Jaehyun said still having the smile on his face. "oh yeah? and?" i tried looking excited for him but deep in me i was sad because that means he'll be busy again.

"and , you can come along." he said. i looked up , my smile fading. "w-what did you say?" i asked. "the flight will take off in the morning so we need to reach the airport at around 6am. which isn't a lot of time for you to pack your things. if it's too rush-" "are you kidding?! i'll pack them right now!" i got up from my bed with my phone still in my hand. "just pack clothes and necessities needed for two days one night. i'll be heading back to korea after a night there." Jaehyun said. "got it!" Jaehyun couldn't stop smiling at how excited i was. "i should hang up now. at around 5am my manager will come to your apartment to pick you up in our car. you'll be acting as a staff so you can be protected." Jaehyun said. "yes mr Jung!" i saluted and waited for him to hang up before continuing to pack my things.

we're gonna be meeting in real life ever since we did 5 months ago.
