I hear the drizzling droplets of the rain,

Soaking wet the dry grounds once ruled by drought.

'Tis it's the rainy season's time to reign.

Now, the soils of Earth received what it sought.

From a prolonged time of rainless season

Comes the showerings of the blessed skies.

Oh, how the grasses revives on the lawn,

For lo, just how nice! They won't meet demise.

And so does my soul yearned quite a longing

That thou will rain on me a love that's true.

Restoring alive my heart that's dying

For it dried since someone broke it in two.

May thy genuine words despise liaisons.

Thy vow, my bethrothed, kill not as poisons.
