Chapter one
Drake
I wake up, and I see a person...she said finally! She looked like she got burned by fire..she wore a long sleeved purple shirt with black pants and a Greek sheild with a short sword. A snake or a bird but it hissed a guy yelled gorgon! He was wearing body armor sheild and a necklace he ripped it off and a sword grew out of no where it was demascus steel with a gold hilt they Killed it but I got burned they picked me up to my feet and yelled run! Left and right corner after corner at the end of the tunnle there was a light and kids were screaming and chanting to hurry up!! The light burned my eyes. It felt like I never saw the sun there were legions of them about 5 with golden eagles the camp directors stood side by side one girl and one boy they looked tough...too tough to fight Their names were Max and Cassidy, Max in legion two and Cassidy in legion five they gave orders for everyone to return to normal procedures. Max showed me to the capital and explained that they are in a war with the Roman's but I got the feeling that I have been around there... He said when you hear the horn that means its dinner time and I had to go to the camp fire tonight and see who I got claimed by and what legion I will join. After that I started to walk around, I was on the beach and the girl who saved me in the maze. Her name was Sam she said that when she found me I had a letter in my hand it said Welcome to war, and dealing with the cursed one. She didn't know what that ment, and neither did I but my memory was foggy all I know is that I need to survive. After she walked away I sat to my self and thought why am I here? The cursed one? What does it mean?! A loud horn rang and I walked towards dinning hall and sat with Cassidy in legion five by suprise I saw Sam in the same legion I sat between them then with in five seconds flat satyrs started bringing food left and right people were laughing talking and dancing I saw in the corner a satyr eating a silver spoon I knew he would get in trouble but I didn't bother him. Sam walked up to me and said wanna dance? But by the way she said it, it seemed like I didn't have a choice. After we danced people started to walk towards the campfire we sang some songs then a freezing blast hit everyone by the time the snow cleared everyone was frozen as if I slowed down time then someone walked up to me he was very old but unrecognisable he said welcome my child, I am sorry I took so long but I had to give my only child the best gift I can find it was a watch... I looked at him stuiply but be said you have been chosen by the god of Ice Delker with a blast of cold every thing was back to normal like nothing happened... I wondered to myself if I could that...I guess only time will tell.... Hours later Max and Cassidy decided to send everyone to bed but before they did they gave a speech, and said Who will take him under their legion and swear to protect him and look after him and take full responsibility of him. It was quite for a moment the the guy who saved me with Sam said I Jake Commander of the third legion shall take him under our wing the whole legion screamed In excitement. After that we all went to sleep, I had a strange dream... Someone whispering in my ear cursed cursed never to be fixed... I woke up in the middle of the night hearing a loud explosive sound. I looked put the window and we were under attack! I looked over to tell my legion but everyone was gone! I strapped on my gear and ran outside but to find out that they were fighting Romans, they were unorganized but they had chariots flying through the air sending arrows but the Fourth legion shot back with great numbers. I finally caught up with my legion they were in the front lines with legion Five I fought with Sam,Jake and,Cassidy by my side I slashed and stabbed back and forward until all the Romans moved put of the way and walked up a guy by judging I guessed he was really powerful but behind him was a girl they both had A Roman shield with a long sword.Then Max and Cassidy walked up to the plate then next thing you know everyone was circled around the two leader. Greek and Roman next to each other to see who would win. The crowd got quite and then sparks went flying Max fought the guy and Cassidy got the girl to tangle with. During Max's fight they went back an foward Max started to fly with his winged shoes But so did the other guy they battled in the air. So I checked how Cassidy was doing and she was crushing her she front kicked and slashed forward she used her charm speak but then a girl from the crowd knocked Cassidy off her feet and I threw my sheild like frisbee and knocked her out then bam all the Romans vanished. We all were puzzled then only to realize that Max....had perished....in his stab hole was a paper I quickly his the paper in my pocket Cassidy ran over I couldnt tell if she was crying her hair covered her face she and Max ran to the infirmy
