Kaaya said bye to Zaverii because she was going to Tye's house after school. She had felt bad about the movie theaters, so she wanted to make it up to him. They went bowling and then they just talked the whole time. When they were talking, Tye's voice got tense and almost jealous as he asked her a question. "Kaaya, who was that boy that you were talking to the other day? Were you guys old friends or something?" She was about to tell Tye the whole story from the start, but she did not want to bring Tye into this drama. Tye was one people she wanted to protect from all this. "He was nothing Tye, just an old friend that I met before." Tye made it obvious that he didn't believe her, but he let it slide this time. They continued talking all day and she had the best time ever. Later that day, Kaaya got a call from an unknown number, but she ignored it because of Kaaya and Tye day and she didn't want someone ruining their fun. Kaaya had forgot all about her birthday which was this weekend. Who cares about one birthday, it doesn't even matter at this point. No one even remembers...Kaaya was lucky because not all people got their birthday on the weekend. Her only friend she realized was Tye. They could hang out on her birthday with Zaverii. The weird thing was that Kaaya and Zaverii weren't born on the same day. Kaaya was older than Zaverii by a day. Tye and Kaaya continued playing until they were exhausted. When she was home, she sat outside and relaxed. Something in which she didn't do for a long time. Zaverii came and said, "Hey sis, I met this new guy today. I invited him to your birthday hang out. That ok with you?" Zaverii said. "Yeah, sure, whatever." Kaaya responded. Zaverii knew a lot of people, this was probably one of her good friends. "K, cool. Oh wait do you want to know his name or do you want to wait?" Zaverii asked. "I really don't care, Zaverii. I want to get some rest right now." Kaaya said, even though she knew she was being rude, she didn't get any sleep last night. "His name is Vex. Isn't that such a cu-" She could finish because Kaaya eyes were wide open. "Vex? His name is Vex!?" Kaaya realized she was yelling. Kaaya was furious with Vex, she betrayed her trust. How could he do this, she thought to herself. She just wanted to a regular week without all this drama!

"Um, I am so sorry. But you need to chill. He is just a guy. I am going invite him." She heard Zaverii say. Kaaya didn't have any words that expressed her emotions. But, he was one of her only her friends. She didn't know what to say. She fell asleep with rage pouring in her. She opened her eyes. 9:30 P.M.. She still had enough time for dinner. She ate dinner and she talked quietly with her mother, father, and twin sister. She actually enjoyed her dinner and she read her book, her friend who wouldn't hurt her. She read for an hour or two and then fell asleep. She woke up, and she looked at the time. 10:17 A.M. She usually woke up late. Kaaya realized that today was her birthday. "Happyyyyyyyy Birthday!" She heard the sound of Zaverii say to her. "Thanks." She replied. I am so sorry about yesterday." She said. "No, no, it's okay, don't blame yourself." Kaaya had felt bad about lying to her sister because she almost never lied to her. A few quick hours later, she wore a dress that she picked out a few weeks ago. She thought that dresses weren't that much of her thing. The dress was gold color with sequins on it, hugging the right parts of her body. The only reason why she chose it because she thought it looked okay. The doorbell rang, it was Tye. "Woah....Kaaya you looked beautiful." She blushed and she tried to cover her blush with sarcasm. She hated when people saw her in dresses. "No, I don't. Don't be silly." Kaaya replied. "The only reason I won't argue with you is because you are the birthday girl. Oh, and here's your present." He held a box wrapped in gold wrapping paper. It looked fancy. She accepted the present and gestured him inside. They went up to her room and she opened his present, it was a necklace that had a huge diamond on it. It was very beautiful. "Oh, Tye! It's beautiful!." She exclaimed. She hugged him, and he hugged her back. She held the necklace to him and told him to put it on her. He put it gently on her and she hugged him again, but this time it was more awkward. The doorbell saved her. Who could it be she thought to herself? Then she remembered.
