The sound of a knock on the door of his shop caused Aziraphale to perk up with interest. It was nearly half past ten, most people were home by now and those that weren't wouldn't be knocking on the door of an obviously closed bookshop.
Aziraphale opened the door, but no one was there, however a basket sat on the front stoop. The angel picked it up with curious interest and brought it inside.
"Angel, did I hear someone knocking on the door- What the bloody hell is that?" Crowley hissed at the all too familiar looking basket.
Had hell really sent another antichrist to Crowley? It had been a year since the last Armageddon failed, surely they weren't trying again.
"I'm not sure," Aziraphale opened the basket, peering inside.
"No, not again," Crowley groaned at the sight of a sleeping infant.
Aziraphale frowned in confusion at Crowley's annoyance.
"The antichrist was delivered to me like this," Crowley explained.
Aziraphale grabbed for the little white paper folded on the infant and read it to himself.
"Oh," he hummed before scooping the baby into his arms.
"What are you doing? Put that back," Crowley hissed again.
A gasp escaped the angel, "Crowley."
"Angel, please put-"
"Take her," Aziraphale said practically shoving the sleeping child into the demon's arms.
"No, angel, I don't want-" He cut himself off. His eyes dropping to the child in his arms.
"She's yours," Aziraphale said, his eyes soft.
"What?" Crowley snapped his own eyes up to the angel, "She's obviously yours. I can feel it."
Aziraphale had most definitely felt Crowley when holding her. But Crowley felt Aziraphale.
"She's ours," Aziraphale held up the note with a new understanding.
"What?" Crowley snatched the note, allowing Aziraphale to take the baby.
"Worry not, the end is not nye once again. The child in front of you is no threat to humanity. She is a gift. To you and Adam. There must be balance. Before her there were three immortals, now there are four. You've gone from godfathers to father, this time you most certainly do not have the wrong child. Congratulations."
Aziraphale beamed down at the little girl in his arms. "She's lovely."
Crowley practically melts onto the couch, as his legs refuse to hold him up anymore.
Aziraphale, knowing the look on the demon's face, gently rocks the child as he pours up a strong drink for Crowley. He hands it over silently.
Crowley takes the drink and for the next hour sits and processes everything.
Aziraphale stays silent, allowing the demon to come to terms with what has just happened.
Finally the baby stirs and blinks up at Aziraphale with eyes that takes the angel's breath away.
"Oh Crowley," Aziraphale sits down next to the demon so he can see.
Her eyes are serpent like but instead of the orangy yellow, they are the blue green of Aziraphale's.
Crowley curiously pulls off the tiny hat on her head. Beautiful strawberry blonde strands were exposed.
She starts to move and that's when Aziraphale notices something on her back. He pulls back the blanket to show that she already has wings coming in.
A little yawn escapes her mouth as she stretches an arm and tiny grey wing.
"Damn, The Almighty really mixed everything about us."
"Let's hope she doesn't get your temperament. I don't think I could handle two of you," Aziraphale teased.
"Oh you're not much better, angel. You're just more passive aggressive. Quite a pain in the ass in fact."
"Don't speak like that in front of the child," Aziraphale scolded.
Ignoring that, Crowley frowned. "She needs a name. We can't just keep calling her child, or baby. And I swear on everything if you even suggest naming her Eve because she's meant to be with Adam, I'm leaving and taking her with me."
Aziraphale laughed, "Oh hush you old serpent. I wasn't going to suggest that at all. But I do have a thought."
"Well go on, spit it out," Crowley demanded impatiently.
"I was thinking perhaps. Leilani. It means heavenly flower. I think it'd suit her."
Crowley scoffed, "You would pick something like that." He couldn't help the small smile though. He knew Aziraphale had chosen the name because of his love of plants.
"Do you like it?" Aziraphale asked.
Crowley took the baby from Aziraphale and smiled down at her, "What do you think, Leilani?"
The baby cooed at him in response.
"I guess that's a yes."
Aziraphale beamed.
Raising her wasn't unlike raising Warlock. There was less talk of impending doom and teaching her things like hiding her wings and miracles.
Aziraphale had taken over miracle teachings when he caught Crowley praising her for mischievous ones.
She learned to blend in with humanity better than her fathers, however. They liked to think Anathema helped with that. She loved plants and books and had taken an interest in medicine when she got older.
Her and Adam had grown to be friends. It helped Adam to have another immortal like him. One that had powers and understood life like he did.
Aziraphale and Crowley understood why The Almighty had sent her. Their little heavenly flower. She was a thank you for loving humanity like she had asked, and also a gift to Adam for beating the devil.

Aziraphale sat at his desk, his eyes scanning the numbers before him. He was always so meticulous with his bookkeeping. However, a light laughter pulled Aziraphale from the page and to Crowley.
"What is it, my dear?"
Crowley looked up from where he was holding his phone. "It's a good thing we aren't human."
"And why's that?"
"Our daughter just text me to tell me she's now dating the antichrist."
Aziraphale beamed, "Oh it's about time."
Crowley laughed again, "That's not what most father's say when their daughter tells them that."
"I suppose not. But I'm glad they're finally together. Not being able to tell them was torturous. It took them long enough," Aziraphale huffed, remembering all the times they could have gotten together.
"Angel, it took us six thousand years. Let's be glad it only took them a hundred and twenty."
Aziraphale smiled fondly at the demon. It did take them far too long, But now they had everything they could ever want.
