I need to leave

I left the hair salon and called Emily.

"Hey Effy! How are you?"

"I'm doing okay, um" I paused.

"Effy"

I sighed "Em, I'm uh I'm pregnant"

"Holy shit Effy! Congrats! You and Harry must be so excited"

"About that" I sighed again "Harry broke up with me well I broke up with him"

"Oh Effy, I'm sorry"

"I haven't told anyone this but I think I might be moving home"

"For good?"

"I don't know I just, I can't be here anymore you know?"

"Yeah sweetie, I get that"

"I just wanted to let you know first"

"Okay well just let me know what you decide okay?"

"Hmm of course, Hey Emily"

"Yeah?"

"I love you, and I miss you"

"I love and miss you too babe"

I hung up and drove to Kian's. I walked into the house.

"Effy! Look at you! You look gorgeous"

I smiled "I can always count on you for putting a smile on my face Bob" hugged him "how are you?"

"I'm good, Kian's in his room"

"Thanks" I walked over to his room and knocked before I walked in "Hey Kian"

"Woah! You changed your hair"

"You like it?"

"Yeah I love it, it makes you seem more edger"

I laughed "thanks uh, I wanted to talk to you"

Kian nodded and moved so I had space to sit down.

"I really appreciate you being there for my doctor appointments and I think I'm going to stay in New York for a few months and if you want or if you can or um..."

"Effy, I would love to still be there for you" he answered me before I could even have to guts to ask.

"Really?"

"Yeah" he smiled "what are you going to do about the house? And Kenny? And the clothing company?"

"I'm still going to pay for the house and the clothing company is still going on and I'm going to tell Kenny when I get home. I just..."

"I know" he grabs my hand "you need space"

"Yeah and I need to focus on my baby"

"Have you spoken to Harry about this?"

"No" I did a little chuckle "I'm not really in the mood to talk to him right now"

"Well how about texting him just letting him know"

"Maybe right now I can't think about him, not anymore I need to focus on myself"

"I get it, well let me know when you need help moving"

I smiled "I will, I just wanted to let you know"

"I'm sure Em is going to love having you back"

"Yeah I told her in the car and Maggie too"

"Yeah, Maggie must be in high school now huh?"

"Honestly I think so" I laughed "my parents still don't know so once I'm back in New York I'm going to break the news to them"
