Rue was a newbie paranormal investigator when she got kidnapped by some of labcorps workers who kept her in a cell and did experiments on her. Eventually they trapped her in a cell with 016 a lab made parasitic demon that bonded with her. Surprisingly they get along pretty fine as companion with benefits. 016 feeds off her negative energy and Rue uses this energy in battle.
It is unknown what Rue'a true intentions are as she is very unpredictable and random. At the moment she patrols the monster realm helping to restore order among humans and monsters.
