Part 21

Seokjin

I must admit that I'm waiting for Taehyung to arrive. I tried to apologize to him earlier but no words came out. It's embarrassing that we just stare at each other. And before I can even speak, he already walked away. Maybe he was very disappointed that I dissed him earlier. But on the contrary, he was able to withstand our staring game earlier. Does that mean his patience improved? I hope so.

But still, I'm already tired of him being so demanding. He will never ask for a favor, only orders. There is no way that I have the right to speak my mind. I don't have the right to complain . He's acting like he owns me. I can't believe he's treating me like this just because I tried picking up a fight on him before and vomiting all over his suit. But it happened only once and I was so drunk. That was unintentional. I wonder why he can't move on.

My thoughts were disrupted by the noises coming outside. I can hear Min-yoon screeching. I went out to check and I saw Taehyung struggling to climb the stairs. Jungkook  was there trying to pull Tae up. Taehyung on the other hand sprawled on the stairs laughing hysterically. "Taehyung can you please at least help yourself? We are helping you here. Don't make it hard for us. And can you please stop laughing? It's annoying." Jungkook whines rolling his eyes as Minyoon holds Taehyung's arm.

Taehyung seized on Jungkook's arm and he finally stood up, Jungkook throw one of Tae's arm on his shoulder. MinYoon did the same on the other. But as soon as Tae stepped on the last, he tripped and roll over on the floor. Jungkook and Min yoon both crouched looking at the miserable looking. I really do think Minyoon is about to cry. Taehyung laughed again. "S-sooooorry Yooonieeee!" He said referring to Minyoon.

I sighed. I went to help. As much as I want to stay away, I just can't look at them. Taehyung looks so wasted. Jungkook looked at me while shaking his head. Taehyung crawled on the floor, looks like he's going to his bedroom... crawling? For real? "Shit Tae! What are you doing?" Jungkook said tending Tae, annoyed. We helped him stand. Tae looked at me with his blood shot eyes, slurring "Oh... m-m-my Sheokjin ish heeeere.." He said giggling. His breath smells like of strong alcohol. "H-eyy JK, my Sheokjin ish here..." he slurred again chuckling. I pout blushing. This man, no matter his state, can always embarrass me. Jungkook sighed. "Shut up Tae."

I opened the door of his bedroom as we helped him to bed. Taehyung rolling helplessly, groaning. "Jin?" Jungkook called. "Sorry about that. He's just drunk."

I smiled, "I know."

"Anyway, I have to go now. I think Minyoon gets some warm water to wash him. See you around." Jungkook said as he walks towards the door.

Minyoon went out from the bathroom with a small tub of water and a towel. "You need help?" I asked. "Yes please Seokjin, thank you. Kindly get pajamas and boxers for him. That door is his walk in closet." He points on the door beside the bathroom. I went in immediately in awe. I was amazed of the beautifully arranged shelves of tops, pants, suits and neck ties and perfectly organized racks of expensive shoes and bags. Mostly Gucci. The table in the middle of the room has his wide collection of watches and accesories neatly placed inside the organizers. I can't afford any of these. I thought.

I scan the shelves and saw the one containing his pajamas and the one with his under wears. As much as I want to feast my eyes over Taehyung's treasures, Minyoon is already waiting outside.

I went out and was taken a back by a completely naked Taehyung lying in bed. My eyes went wide over his well sculpted physique. My face went red. I tried my best not to look down there.

"Jin!" Startled, i almost did not hear Minyoon calling me. "Give me that! It's cold!"

"Sorry." I said giving her the clothes.

"Aish Jin. Why are you embarrassed? You also have that!" Surprised, Minyoon looks comfortable changing Taehyung's clothes.

"I know but I haven't seen others  naked." I said, blushing.

"You're a virgin?!" She exclaimed. My face now scarlet red.

"Ssshhhhh!" That's all I can mutter.

"You have a boyfriend right?" Huh? Who said that?

"Me? Boyfriend? I don't have a boyfriend!" Where on earth did she get that news?

"So who is Namjoon?"

I was strike in surprise by Minyoon's question but I managed let out a laugh, "Oh my god Minyoon! Namjoon is my bestest friend. If he hears this, he will be really disgusted! We are like brothers."

Minyoon just nodded while buttoning the last on Tae's pajamas.

"It seems like you are very comfortable doing that?"

Minyoon smiled, "He's like a son to me."

After Minyoon changed Tae's clothes, we went outside his bedroom. "Is he always like that? I mean getting excessively drunk?" I asked.

Minyoon shook her head, "He's sober for quite a while now. The last time I saw him that drunk was when his ex girlfriend left him."

"Chanri's mother?" Minyoon nodded.

"He was so miserable. Then his father's death added to his depression. He really had a hard time coping. He grew cold and angry to everyone. Jungkook even live here for almost a year just to accompany him because Taehyung almost died."

"Died?!"

"Yes. He wanted to sleep so badly he took more than the recommended dosage of sleeping pills." Minyoon sighed. My heart suddenly breaks. This is the first time I heard that he almost died before.

"That's... sad."

"Yes, very." Minyoon nodded.

"So why is he so wasted now? H-his ex is back?" Why does it hurting me hearing about his ex?

Minyoon just looked at me. Maybe, she's not ready to spill the bean.

"Minnie, by the way, how did you know about Namjoon?" I asked. I was really curious.

"I just guess!" Sarcastically, "Of course Tae told me!" Minyoon held my hand and looked at me so fondly. "Jin, i know somehow you already have a clue or a hint. Taehyung cares for you. He may be cold and arrogant but he really has a very good heart."

"W-why are you saying that to me?"

"Taehyung is scared to show or express his love. Showing it in the oddest way possible. Trying to restrain himself by showing his bad side. I really think that his past experience caused him that fear of being rejected or being left behind again. I know he's not treating you well but I do hope in some way, you already have a clue."

"I don't get it." Here I am again, denying that I get it.

Minyoon sighed, "It's late now, let's go to bed. Goodnight Jin." Minyoon said before climbing down the stairs and leaving me dumbfounded.
