you stood in the wings as the band headlined reading and leeds festival 2019. in complete awe, you watched george as he played each and every song of the set. every move he made sent an electric storm through your body. you had never been in love like this.
just after halfway through, greta's speech was playing through the speakers. the boys, besides matty, came offstage for a drink and a moments break. you smiled as your boyfriend walked towards you with a smile of his own on his face.
"it's fucking mental out there."
"i am so proud of you."
"i love you."
george took his blazer off as he was kissing you. you took it from him and draped it over the barrier in front of you.
"back on in 3..2..1."
jamie signalled for the boys to return to the stage.
george kisses your forehead as he turned to finish off headlining the festival.
