Yesterday Ryan said I was gonna do it after the game but the game it on Friday
"Hey Ryan the game is on Friday" I said "Yeah I know" he said "Oh ok so how are we gonna do it" I ask "After the game we're gonna get all the football guys to hold up signs and then at the end of it Monty's gonna stand there with a sign saying 'will you go to the dance with...' and then you Justin will be behind him with a sign that says 'jeff' and then you will come out from behind Justin with roses and a teddy bear and then she gives you an answer but also while she's walking threw the line of guys each guy hands her a rose" he says "That's a really good idea but how will the guys be standing" I ask "There will be two lines and they will be zig zag" he says "Okay" I say "So You need to go get the team to help you and then you need to get roses and a teddy bear and Make sure the teddy bear is white" he says "How big" I ask "A regular teddy bear" he says "Okay but we have one problem" I say "What" he asks "Bryce is wanting to ask her to the dance too" I say "Yeah so is Montgomery" Trevor says walking up behind me "You heard that" I asked "Yes Jeff I know you like Brooke it obvious and that a good idea so listen to ryan" Trevor says "But Montgomery And Bryce are both asking her" I said "Bryce already asked her" Trevor said "Shit" I said "She said no" Trevor says "She doesn't like him like that and she is gonna help him get a date with Katie" Trevor says "So you could probably get Bryce to help you get the guys" Ryan says "Yeah he will help more than likely" Trevor says "What about Monty there like best friends" I said "True But she doesn't like him like that plus Justin wants you and Brooke to go together so he already told Brooke Monty was gonna it So now she knows but even if she didn't she would say no" Trevor says "Okay good" i say
The rest of the day goes by pretty slow but it's the end of the day and the guys are going to football practice Monty asked Brooke and she said no so now he's gonna help me but I need to ask the rest of the guys
"Bryce" I said catching up to him before he goes into the boys locker room "What's up jeff" he says. "I need your help" i day "With What" he asked "I need you and the rest of the guys to help me ask Brooke to the dance" I say "Shit bro yeah of course what do you need us to do kidnap her" he says "No Thursday night after yalls game get all the guys on the field in one big zig zagged line and I need them to hold signs and one rose each and as she walks through I need them to give her the rose" I says "Okay bro I got you so you want us to make one big zag zagged line and hold signs and roses"he said "Yeah" I said "Okay but why if we lose" he said "I don't care we're still doing it but try to win for the sake of the damn team" I says "We need some more wins" he says laughing "Okay I'll talk to the guys is it okay if I tell them your asking Brooke or no" he asks "Yeah go ahead just make sure they don't say anything to her about it" I say "I got you bro come with me" he says
Me and Bryce walk into the locker room to talk to the guys
"Alright guys listen up" Bryce yells After getting all of there attention he says "Thursday night after the game jeff is gonna ask Brooke to the dance and you guys are gonna help your gonna get in one big zig zagged line and each of you are gonna hold up a sign and a rose and as she walks by hand her the rose" he says "What if we lose" some guy asked "It doesn't matter"he says "And if you tell her Monty will beat your ass" he says "Yes I will so don't tell her" Monty says "Everyone agree" Bryce says "Yes" everyone yelled "Okay there you go bro" Bryce said "Thank you" I said "No problem" he says
I leave and go home and talk to my mom and ask for her help
"Hey mom I need our help" I say as I walk into the kitchen "What's up sweetheart" she asked "Dad I need your help too" I say "What is it son" he says "So Thursday night after the football I'm gonna ask this one girl if she will go out with me" I say "How are you gonna do it" my mom ask I explain to my mom and dad the whole thing "That's An a amazing idea"my mom said "How did you come up with that" my mom asked "I didn't her gay best friend did" I say "Her gay best friend" my mom said laughing "Yeah I needed his help I didn't know how to do it myself so I asked him" I said "How long have you known her" my dad asks "About a week and a half" I said "And your asking her to go out with you" my dad said laughing "Yes do you guys remember when I told you about clay" I asked "Yes" they both said "Well it's his cousin she lived here her whole life but ironically enough moved to Australia the week before we moved here and she moved back about 2 weeks ago she's already captain of the cheer team soccer team and volleyball" I said "What's her name" my mom asked "Brooklyn" I said "Last name" my dad asked "Anderson" I said "Are her parents Julie and Steven Anderson" my mom asked "I think so I'm not sure"i say "Why" I ask "Well me and your father both lived her before when had you but we moved before we had you and we knew Julie and Steven we were and still are very close to them" my mom said "Oh" I said "So what did you need it help with" my dad asked "What do I say" I asks "Well you doing signs so you don't need to say anything" my dad said "After she reads the last sign ask her if she will go with you" my mom says "Okay Thanks I She to go get the stuff to make signs" I says getting up "Okay let me know if you need any help marking them" my mom says "Yes actually will you help me when I get back" I ask "Yes But Wait till Thursday to get the roses" my mom says "I'm going too" I says a i walk out of the door End of POV
