A thin boned girl
in a dampened-eye dream
roared as the moon
crept over the sky.
Warm and melting,
she rages on,
fading into the memoirs
of broken children.
She sings the song
of a man who decayed.
She hums the solemn tune
of lovers unknown.
They silence her war cries,
for fear, one might hear.
Yet she decays with a hum.
And rages on.
