Taehyung's POV

After I came out of the shower, I was startled by the sound of Jungkook's phone ringing.

Fantastic baby! Dance!

It continued to blare and I smiled at his choice of ringtone. I walked to his bed and picked up his phone. It was from Jimin.

"Hello?"

'Hey- Wait you're not Jungkook,'

I rolled my eyes, "No shit Sherlock. I am Taehyung. Why are you calling Jungkook? I thought he's hanging with you today?"

'What? No. I actually called to ask how he's doing since I'm just done with my class,'

I gritted my teeth, "Oh okay,"

'Why? What's wrong? Where's Jungkook?' I could hear the panic in his voice

I started to pace around in my room, "I don't know. He told me he's going out with you!"

'But he didn't tell me about any plans to meet up,'

"It's okay. I'll wait in the dorm for him to come back and I'll ask what's going on," I said as I glared at nothing in particular

'Okay but please call me if he doesn't come back. I swear this kid always makes me worry,'

"It's fine. Calm down, he'll be fine. I'll tell you when he returns," I assured him

'Okay, thanks. Bye,'

"Bye," I hung up and sat on my bed

I sighed, why did he lie to me?

After a few hours of waiting, I heard the door open. I quickly texted Jimin.

Taehyung: Jimin, he's back

Jimin: Thank god, I was so worried. Ask him to call me. He's so dead

Taehyung: Yea, okay

I shut my phone off when Jungkook said, "Hey, Taehyung. What up?"

I sat up and gritted my teeth, "Had fun with Jimin?"

I knew he sensed something wrong because of my expression

"U-Um yea. We did since it's been a while," he stuttered and it took all my patience, not to yell.

I stood up and walked closer to him, "Why are you lying to me? I thought we are friends?"

I saw his face turn pale and I could see he regretted what he did but I wanted to know why. Why he lied to me and who he went out with

"I-I-" he looked down, "I'm sorry,"

I scoffed and backed away from him, "Sorry? That's it? I was so worried when Jimin called you on your phone and told me that he wasn't with you! Where did you go?"

He gulped and looked like he was trying not to cry, "I-I went out w-with C-Chanyeol,"

I swear fire came out of my eyes at the mention of that guy's name, "Why?"

"H-He just wanted to be friends. So he i-invited me over for lunch," he said as he looked down and I saw tears falling

I sighed as I embraced him and he cried in my chest, "I'm s-sorry, Taehyungie,"

My heart just went mushy and I wondered in amazement how does that to me, "It's okay, Kook. I was worried and Jimin too,"

"I t-thought you'll be mad if I told you I'm g-going with Chanyeol 'c-cause I've noticed you would get upset when I mention him," he looked up at me with his red, puffy eyes and I felt bad for making him cry

"Um yeah, I don't really like him," I said, although I don't really know him well

"Why? He's a nice guy," Jungkook said and it irritated me for some reason

"Nicer than me?" I raised my eyebrows

He glared at me, "Yea,"

"How so?" I asked

"Well, first off, he didn't make me cry," he said and moved away from me to sit on his bed

I sat next to him, "Hey, I was just worried, okay? I didn't mean to make you cry,"

He smiled, "It's fine. I'm glad we're friends,"

But I want to be something more

"How about you we watch a movie to spend the rest of the afternoon?" I asked and took my laptop, "Oh and before that, Jimin asked me to tell you to call him,"

"Ughh, he's going to nag at me," he groaned

"Well, you better call before he runs here and kills you," I chuckled and picked a movie

"Fine," he said and grabbed his phone

"I'm sorry, yea, I'll be more careful.... Yea, okay!..... I said I'm sorry... okay, bye," I heard him say to the phone before he hung up

"Man, I swear Jimin worries more than my actual mom," he said as he plopped himself on my bed

"He sounds like a bottom," I suddenly said and Jungkook's face turned red

"That's because he is," I heard him mumble

"Oh? Like you?" I teased and he slapped my arm playfully

"Shut up and play the movie!"

And like that, the rest of my afternoon was spent with Jungkook, watching a rom-com movie which I never used to like but it seemed more interesting watching with him.
