2. Dance

It's been 3 months since I became a professor here, as I have experience as a mercenary I could teach my students, Hanneman and Manuela they let me choose which house I pick, I picked the Black Eagles, just because... ehm, the Houseleader was actually pretty cute, I didn't want that to be the reason why, and also I felt like they are good students.

- Professor, I have a task for you- Rhea said behind me. - What is it? - I responded

-We're having a dance competition and I would like you to pick a someone from your class.- Rhea said, well a dance competition didn't sound so bad, but I don't know who to pick, maybe...

Edelgard

After what yesterday happened, I felt more... sad? I don't know, I feel a little pain. The whole world feels different from yesterday...

-Hey, Edelgard.- I heard a voice behind me, oh no, is it? - H-hello professor! - I responded- What do you need?- I said

- So Rhea told me about this dance competition and I would like you...- Wait, is she saying that she wants to...- I would like you to dance with me, it feels very awkward saying this, but if you don't want to it's okay- she said. - No!No! It's okay, I-I will dance with you!- I said in a heartbeat

-Well, thank you, see you later! -  She said waving, her smile is so beautiful I just drooled over her beauty, and without realizing she left I was still blushing and waving like an idiot. -Umm.. Edie?- I heard a familiar voice behind me -Huh! I was... waving to the professor! - I said, but still felt like an idiot. -But she's not there anymore, are you okay Edie? Do you need slep?- Dorothea asked

-No, no! I need to get ready, so now that you're here... umm could you help me get ready?- I asked awkwardly. -Why? Do you have a date?- Dorothea jokingly said, but, she wasn't that wrong

-No!, well, kinda. -  I responded. -Who is it? Dimitri? Sylvain? Felix?. She asked, assuming i was in a "date" with a guy. - Well, it's kinda complicated... it's the professor- I responded even more awkwardly, i couldn't even stare at her. It went silent for 1 minute, I checked in Dorothea and she was still surprised.- With... with the professor? Oh my god Edie, you're so lucky - She said way to happy to be honest. -Huh?- I said confused - Have you seen her body? Her thighs, her chest and her as-. -Dorothea!- I yelled at her. I mean yes she has a great body, she has worked out obviously, she was a mercenary after all, but, her thighs are really beautiful and her chest... oh my god what am I thinking!

-Dorothea... just help me get ready I have little time- I said - Oh, okay.

-Okay Edie! You're ready!- Dorothea said - Okay... I am worried, what if I mess up, what if I say something bad and the professor hates me- I started panicking.- Edie Stop it, you are going to be fine, it's okay. If you mess up the professor will know that you didn't mean it. - Dorothea said trying to calm me down.

As I went to the place I saw the professor, radiant as ever, even though it was night time. I felt so happy, it is so just because, just with her joy.- Hey Edelgard!- She said smiling, brightly,when she called me, I became her flower, as if I have been waiting, I bloom painfully beautifully. -H-hey professor!- I said nervous, I was about to panic again but she grabbed my hand. -You can call me Byleth from now-. She said while smiling, I couldn't have been more flustered, I think I'm the only person that calls her that... - O-okay Byleth-. It sounded so weird calling the professor that. -See? Good girl-. She said winking at me, i couldn't breathe at how close we were. We were dancing on the place, and I was with her...

Perhaps it is the providence of the universe, It just had to be like this, as much as my heart flutters, I'm afraid because the destiny that awaits us both might be difficult. As much I'm scared when you see me and when you touch me, the universe has moved for us, there wasn't anything even slightly out of place, our happiness has been destined, because I love you. Now, pleease be by my side, please be, I don't wanna let go, we can just leave it to fate, we can feel it even if we don't talk, the stars  are hanging in the sky and I'm flying through the clouds of negativity, it's not a dream at all.

We went to the Goddess Tower, to rest after all. -Thank you-. She thanked me? For what? - Why?- I asked - I've never danced with such passion with a beautiful flower like you. - She said looking at the sky. I was about to faint to such beautiful words... -Why are we here anyways? I mean the Goddess Tower?-. She asked - Well, my dad went to this monastery too, and in here he met my mother, even though he was soon Emperor and had candidates, he decided that my mother was the best pick for him-. I said - That's so great, maybe you can find love in here too- she said -Well, you tell me things about yourself! I told you so many things why won't you do too!.. Like who is you first love anyways? - I asked, she didn't say a thing and just stared at me, not with a disgust look or sad or angry, she just looked at me smiling. -Well I don't have any-. She responded after a quiet minute. -Lady Edelgard, Professor, hello, Lady Edelgard it's late, I'm sorry if I interrumped something, just telling you Milady-. Hubert said out of the blue. - Well, Professor, I need to leave, see you in class!- I said while waving, she just stayed there.. well I do too so no worries
