She wears a rose gold watch on her left wrist now. No longer on her right because of the impracticability that everyone told her again and again about yet she refused to listen until now.

She spends a majority of her day alone and without her most cherished friends but she is learning to be okay and not shut the world out. She misses them dearly yet her pride and safe place she has found without them holds a much greater value than what she found with them.

Her homework is now easy, assignments get turned in on time, school days are no longer skipped, breakfast is eaten, and professional outfits are worn every day.

She asks for help in every way except when her heart hurts of grief, happiness, sadness, and longing.

She keeps her private things private.

She hasn't written in her journal since the beginning of summer it is now September.

She still has dreams where her past lovers sneak in and those are the days she wakes up depressed and stays asleep every minute possible.

Her nails are different colors now.
