Running wild

I live a life of ordinary proportions
Until I'm set free to fly
Then my feet dance like the oceans
And my spirit no longer wants to die.

Feel the wind in my hair
As I see the curls braids and feathers
My mind is like a bird flying through the air
While the world outside loses it's tethers.

I'm finally at peace with my body, mind, and soul.
Running wild like the winds in the mountains.
I feel in my heart the spirits of old
And see in the future the abundant fountains.
