Bennett felt tears well up in his eyes once again.
"W-what's wrong?" Akira's voice was soft and slightly frightened.
"I think I lo- like you a bit more than I'd like to admit."
Akira tightened his arms around the taller boy.
"I like you a bit too much, too."
Bennett's heart skipped a beat and as the tears rolled down his cheek, he smiled.
He smiled more brightly than he had in a long time.
He still hadn't fully accepted himself but Bennett's key was now positioned in the lock.
All that was left to do was to turn the key and let the lock fall.
