It's been a year since you moved on from Grayson because you started to loose feelings for him
Ever since then he'd start drinking and smoking and doing things he shouldn't do . He was broken . A complete mess . He loved you so much and for you to throw his your love away like that was so sad to him
He fell into depression . You were the only one who knew how to keep him sane and to love him properly . His family was never there for him . His brother , Ethan went off to war but never came back . He was forced to stay in the army
Them two were really tight . They always had each other's backs and loved each other unconditionally, they still do . It's been years since they've seen each other . Every night Grayson would pray for ethan to come home . He knew he was alive , he'd seen him on the news
One night Grayson sat down by the fire in his garden and had a bottle of whiskey in his hand . He stared at the fire tearing up at how messed up his life was

His dad moved on to another woman and didn't bother to check on Grayson at all . Cameron was in a high standard college and was married so she didn't have time for neither of her brothers
That left the twins , they looked after each other until ethan decided to find a job to get money for the both of us and that's when he found a job in the army
The goodbyes in the airport were painful , they both let their bestfriends go and they never saw each other again . The maximum time you can stay in the army was around 5-6 years . You couldn't leave earlier
