"...Hhhhnnn..." I opened my eyes. I blinked.

I woke up to the illuminating moon, the rays of moonlight, as bright as diamond-flame, turned the sea a-glow like melted platinum. It was as if I was watching a scene from an old fable stepping off the page and I was beguiled by its beauty. It's too bad that ever since that night I found the moon to be very repulsive.

There was not a sound, only silences as the moon watched as the fit tore the dying woman apart. Slowing, torturous degrees, the coughs eased in intensity and then slowly, slowly passed.

I felt my heartbeat slowing down as second went by.

"ahhh...finally, I get to see you again. Wait for me."
