"Yo Cyrus!" TJ yelled from across the restaurant, fries stuffed in his mouth. Him and the 'mystery' person were eating together and laughing uncontrollably.

'Oh god he sees me!' Cyrus began to panic. 'Why am I afraid to see him? We were together like a couple hours ago.'

"Cyrus." TJ said again, this time standing in front of him and Jonah. Cyrus gulped nervously.

"Hey TJ." Jonah waved shyly.

"Oh Jonah! I didn't see you there. How are you dude, feeling better?" TJ asked, facing Jonah.

"I- uh t-think I'm fine now." Jonah stuttered, embarrassed by the incident from earlier.

"Don't be ashamed dude, I'm just glad me and Cyrus were there to help you, right Underdog?" TJ, trying to give Cyrus the cue to chime into the conversation. Meanwhile, Cyrus was trying to decipher who that was, dining with TJ.

'He looks kinda familiar.'  Cyrus thought.

"Is he okay?" TJ leaned over to Jonah, who also caught onto why Cyrus was so distracted.

"Yo Marty!" Jonah exclaimed, wide eyed and grinning. Marty's head shot up, and he instantly turned red.

"Oh my god! That's who it is!" Cyrus exclaimed and following Jonah. Meanwhile TJ had never been more confused in his life.

"Yo Marty, we didn't know you moved out here!" Cyrus said, sitting next to Jonah at the table.

"You guys know this idiot?" TJ scoffed.

"Yeah, me and him used to be the OG dumbass duo, back in Shadyside." Jonah stated, a little too proudly.

"Is this true Party?" TJ asked, struggling to bite back a laugh, but Marty remained silent. In shock. "Yo Mart. Martin!"

"How's Driscoll?" Marty finally spoke, in a soft tone, and turning to Cyrus.

"She's uh... she's-" Cyrus hesitated, piecing together the understanding of Marty's sudden shift in demeanor.

"Oh." Marty said. He then pulled out his wallet, threw down a 20, and got up. "I'm gonna go now Teej. Nice to see you again Beck. Peace out Goodman." Marty said, pale as a ghost and completely void of any emotion.

"Well in case you guys haven't been able to put it together, that's my boy Marty, who is acting very odd." TJ chuckled, earning a giggle from Jonah as well. Cyrus shuddered, the memories of 7th grade flooding back into his mind.

Cyrus, Buffy, and Andi sat at their usual lunch table. The air was mixed with nerves and excitement. Today was the day that Buffy was going to come clean to Marty about her feelings.

"Okay! Okay! He said he's getting his lunch and is gonna come to our table!" Buffy exclaimed. Her and Andi proceeded to squeal together, earning their table some 'interesting' stares from other students.

"Where's Jonah?" Cyrus said, hopeful that maybe he could help him from losing his sanity today.

"He's sitting with Natalie today." Andi spat.

"Oh." Cyrus sighed.

"Everyone shut up! He's coming." Buffy hushed.

"Hey Driscoll." Marty said softly, sitting down next to Cyrus and across from Buffy.

"Hey! Are you okay?" Buffy asked, leaning in and placing a hand on Marty's arm.

"No." Marty scoffed. Buffy turned to glare at Andi and Cyrus. Her eyes telling them to go away.
