once said to me

thankful
for the family you have been gifted
through all your losses.
I am thankful,
I sure am!
I am thankful
for the sun and the moon,
the stars that are always
there for me,
for those
that look at me
with love in their eyes,
and acceptance
that washes over me
when I am laughing
with my friends.
I am thankful,
my *lost and found* family.
