Death is terrifying to some people
They stay away
Avoid it like the plague
One touch and you're gone
End of story.
But others see death as a friend
Someone there all along
That watches you live and be happy
And finally helps you out
When it looks at its watch and notices
Hey, it's finally time to go.
I just think that death
Is going to get here soon enough
So there's no point in being scared
But instead of waiting for the day
When death would finally check their watch
I think actually living
Is a better idea
Because either way
If you're mostly paying attention
To the end of your existence
Then aren't you already
Pretty much halfway there?
