Next day you woke up from your phone ringing, it was from Jungkook

"Hello"

"Hey babe, I'll take you to school be ready in an hour.....love you" he hung up just like that

You sighed thinking about what will happen in the school when you and Jungkook walk in together

You both have confessed to each other that means you are committed right? Different thoughts consuming your mind

You snapped out of your world to reality and you start to get ready

Exactly after an hour later Jungkook reached your house to pick you up

As you reached the school, no one expected what they have just seen

You walking hand in hand with Jungkook as you both entered the school, with their mouth open in shock, everyone around you start to whisper which made you a little anxious

"don't mind them, they have never seen me with anyone since" he stopped, he didn't continue

You understood he was thinking about Alison and he is not ready to talk about it 'when the time comes he'll tell me, I'm not gonna force him'

"nevermind" you both walked to the boys

Jimin: "and here is the couple of the century" Jimin hugged Jungkook as if he's so happy for him

Tae: "you betrayed me Y/N, what about the love we had?" he faked crying as Jungkook slightly punched him on the shoulder

Everyone started to laugh

Jin, Yoongi, Hoseok: "we are truly happy for you Kook, our boy is back" they all hugged each other, while Namjoon approached you

Namjoon: "I am glad he found you Y/N, I think only you can heal him" he said and hugged you

You looked at Jungkook who was laughing with his friends and at that time you realized 'I can never live without him, I don't know how I can feel this much love to someone whom I just met but all I know is that I can never see him in pain' you smile at the smiling face of Jungkook, he was like he just reborn today

Your both friends Lisa and Jennie joined you

Jennie: 'OMG it's true, I didn't believe anyone buy it is true' she said as she hugged you

Lisa pulled your hand and the three of you enter an empty classroom

Lisa: "congratulations Y/N but I hope you know what are you doing" her words confused you

"what do you mean Lisa?"

"we have told you about his past Y/N and I'm just scared because we....we were friends with Alison before.....when she was nice, we used to hung out together and I've seen how much Jungkook loved her, and I always thought the reason he's like this now, the reason why he haven't dated anyone since Alison is because maybe he hasn't moved on at all, and I just want to make sure that he truly loves you because I don't wanna see you hurt" Lisa said eyebrows furrowed, you could see she was genuinely concerned

"thanks for your concern but he moved on and I think he loves me" you said but you didn't sound sure

"I hope so Y/N, I know Jungkook is a good boy cause I have seen how he treats the one he loves and I'm happy if you're happy" she hugged you tightly

At lunch you all sat together the boys you and your friends and luckily Jennie and Lisa both get along with them pretty well

Few days have passed, Jungkook always treats you good

Lisa's words daily cross your mind but you try not to think about it much

Jungkook brought you to his home as you decided to spend some time there, while you were cooking noodles for both of you he came from behind and back hugged you, you could feel his heart beating, you turned to him and kissed him softly before asking him

"you do love me right?" he looks at you with no expression

Silence consumed the whole kitchen, after few seconds Jungkook finally spoke

"why do you ask?" you regretted asking him that

"umm nothing" you tried to turn back to cooking but he holds you

"I love you more than anything in this world Y/N"

You smiled "I know"

"the past year has been really difficult for me I-" he shuts his eyes as you can see he is hiding his pain

"you don't have to tell me if you're not ready, I'll wait" you could tell that he was about to tell you about Alison

He suddenly pulled you closer and hugged you tightly

You finished cooking and you both had dinner, you decide to stay over the night, you changes into Jungkook's t-shirt as you crawled in the bed cuddling him

"she broke me" he said out of nowhere

You looked over at him as he had an expressionless face

You guessed that he's decided to tell you because now he's ready
