Chapter 17•Get Off Mah Lawn, Boy!

(this is a flashback chapter, sorry to those who wanted the story to progress. I promise it's really funny and important to the plot!)

[Alexa's POV]

(They are both six right now so yeah.)

I was playing with [Name] as usual. It's been a while since our second year of school started and I started getting bullied. That's how we met! She was one of my bullies but stopped and helped me get the bullies away. She said that her friend forced her to bully me.

She is actually a really nice girl. She has pretty [Hair Length] [Hair Colour] hair and always smiles.

After a while of playing, I had to go home to my Mummy, Daddy and Little Sissy. I walked along the path to get to my home. I heard my Sissy screaming from inside so I got really worried.

I ran into my home and saw Daddy hurt Sissy. There was red stuff everywhere. I got a good feeling seeing all the red. Sissy was painting again I guess.

Mummy came into the room and screamed. I saw her grab the phone and call someone. Daddy ran out of the house and I never saw him again.

"And do you want to see your Daddy again?"

"Yeah! He's my Daddy! Why wouldn't I wanna see him?"

The police guy sighed.

"We'll continue this interview on a later date. Come on, let's take you to your Mummy."

The police lead me to my Mummy. She took me to a different house and we stayed there all night!

I really wanna see Sissy's painting though. I really liked seeing the red.

[Three Years Later]

[Name's POV]

My friend Alexa has been a little off lately. She's been obsessed with pointy stuff. She's stabbed me in the leg a couple of times too. She really hurts me.

I still love her though.

She's my best (and only) friend I've had since I was six.

She told me to meet her at the forest at midnight. So I did. I snuck out of my room and met her in the woods.

"I have to show you something cool!"

"What is it Alexa?"

"I found these things called 'Creepypasta' on the internet."

"I'm not allowed on the internet..."

"I don't care, I'm still gonna tell you!"

"Okay..."

"So there's this man called 'Slenderman' and he's really cool and nice. I wanna summon him, wanna help?"

"I don't know... It's really late and my parents are gonna tell at me..."

"Yes or no?"

"I me-"

"If you don't come I might get lost in the forest."

"Fine. I'll come."

She lead me deep into the woods. It was really creepy. Then she started yelling.

"OH MR. SLENDERMAN! WE HAVE COME TO SEE YOU!!"

I felt chills down my spine. Someone or.... Something... Was out there... Looking at us like we were it's prey...

"Alexa, c'mon... We should go..."

She then punched me in the gut, causing me to tumble and fall on to the ground. I looked around and saw a tall man with no face standing in front of Alexa. My mind went fuzzy and I could hear ringing through my ears.

I woke up in my bed, not remembering how I got there. It was the morning too. Was that all just a dream? I walked into the kitchen and saw a note on the table.

"Just went to go buy you some medicine. Ace is at your aunties house so don't panic. You also have the day off school since you've been asleep for a couple of days. There's food in the fridge you can reheat and you're allowed to watch T.V.

Love, Mum and Dad 🖤."

I wasn't hungry so I just sat on the couch and watched [Favourite T.V. Show]. After a while, I heard the phone ringing. So, I picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Hello [Name]! Are you feeling okay?" It was my Mum.

"Uh yeah."

"That's good. Now, we won't be home until late tonight so please make yourself some food."

"Why aren't you coming home?"

"We are a little held up. We had to take Ace to the hospital since he broke his ankle while walking."

"Is he okay?!?"

"He is- oh, I have to go now sweetheart, Dad says Hi!" She hung up.

I didn't want to be alone after what I saw that night that I was with Alexa. I noticed it was getting dark so I decided to heat up some leftover pizza pockets.

Beep Beep Beep Beep. The microwave beeped at me, signalling that the pizza pockets were done. I took them out and took them to the lounge room where I ate. I then felt the sudden urge to look out my window.

Standing there was the tall guy I saw in front of Alexa that night. I felt angry that he was here. Can't he just leave me alone. He shouldn't even be here!

With my anger boiling I unlocked the lounge room window.

"Get off mah lawn, boy!" I yelled in a Texas accent.

To my surprise, he disappeared in front of my eyes. Like poof!

I saw my parents pulling into the drive way. I thought they wouldn't be coming home until late tonight? I pulled my head back into the warm home and locked the window. My Mum and Dad walked into the home carrying my little brother.

"I thought you weren't gonna be back until late tonight?"

"Well, we got out of the hospital early. Turns out it was just a sprain." My dad says.

"Well, imma go to bed since my head hurts." I say walking to my room.

"Goodnight!" My parents yell.

"Goodnight!!!" I yell back.

I got into my pajamas and got into bed. I couldn't help but shake the feeling that someone was watching me. I feel like they're in that forest, waiting for me to go back in...
