Dear Poseidon
You were so cold
Like a lake frozen over
But you had nothing to lose
For you've already lost everything you had
Just like the sea
You could change from calm to hell within moments
And that terrified them
For you were free
You had no strings pulling you around
Like the other Gods
You had the water's soul
And you couldn't be restrained
You swallow up those with bad intentions and bless the sea-men
You had nothing going for you
So why should everyone else?
