"are you positive you can't come?" i asked savannah as i walked up and down the stairs in my house

"i'm sorry ari, it's just work" she mumbled

"i know i was just hoping" i sighed

"maybe thanksgiving?" she asked

"we said that last thanksgiving, and the year before that" i replied

"i know" she said

"but it's okay, i'll try i have no life so" i shrugged

"what are you doing?" she asked

"currently? i'm walking up and down the stairs waiting for payton to come" i answered

"what are you two going to do?" she asked

"binge watch horror films and eat halloween candy" i answered

"damn" she mumbled

"i wish is was there" she laughed

"same" i said

"oh" she mumbled

"it's okay, i gotta go though because someone just pulled up outside" i said

"okay, speak soon" she smiled

"you too" she said, i hung up the phone and shoved it into mine, well payton's hoodie pocket, i opened the front door to see payton getting out of his uber.

"yo" i said throwing the peace sign up

"hiiiii" he smiled running down my drive way

"what's our plans for today then?" he asked finally reaching my house

"halloween films, with halloween snacks and cuddles" i smiled

"sounds like a day" he replied, i nodded my head yes and we headed into the kitchen

"so how's life, in general?" he asked jumping up and sitting on my island

"pretty sucky" i answered

"oh what's wrong?" he asked

"i'm not going to see savannah this year, but it's alright" i mumbled

"oh" he mumbled

"i'm still thriving though" i said once again throwing the peace sign up

"you are, you are something different" he laughed

"tell me something i don't know" i replied opening the cupboards and getting the bag of snacks out

"bedroom or couch?" i asked

"i don't mind" he mumbled

"bedroom because i'm lazy" i said mostly to myself, i started walking back up the stairs, payton following.

"you know i've been thinking" payton started

"and you finally want to give me your last name?" i asked

"no" he said

"you want to impregnate me?" i asked as we reached the last step, we walked across the hallway and into my bedroom.

"oh then what have you been thinking?" i asked

"i only wanted to speak about the costume i was going to wear to your party" he said
