(Y/N)'s POV~
I walked up to another house, an [OPERATIVE]'s house, that is. Earlier, I had received a call earlier from Radiant. He asked if I could come over to this address and watch the person who was inside. Apparently, he couldn't because he had an unexpected shift he needed to attend. I'd accepted because I had absolutely nothing better to do, anyway.
I took a deep breath and knocked on the door. He never specified who it was I was watching, he just referred to them as "a friend".
I waited there a while, I started to wonder if they were even here. I waited a few more minutes. I was turning around and about to walk away until I heard the door swing open. I turned around, and stared at the man.
"WHY YOU LEAVE? COME IN YES?!" He shouted.
The man had blonde hair and blue eyes, he wore a blue hat with long flaps on each side of his head, covering his ears. His uniform was the same design as the other [OPERATIVES], however, it was more cyan. He stared at me, waiting for an answer.
"Sure, I guess-"
Before I could finish, he grabbed my arm and pulled me inside of the house. It was a mess. He tugged me over to the TV and sat me down. I was hella confused, This guy is an [OPERATIVE]? I thought. He walked up the the TV and put on some show. I didn't know what it was, but I didn't say anything about it.
"WE WATCH SHOW YES?" he asked.
"All right..?" I said uncertainly.
He was wack, yes, but he was sort of intimidating at the same time. I feel like if I were to say the wrong thing, he'd grab a knife and stab me. He wasn't like Macabre, I'll say. He's a nicer version. However, I don't think that he would hesitate to hurt someone.
"YOU HUNGRY?" he questioned.
"I-I guess?" I replied
"OKAY," he said, starting to stand up. "WAIT HERE."
As if I have anywhere else to go right now. I thought. I heard the ruffling of thin plastic bags and the thumping of the pots and pans on the counter or floor. He came back, a bag of white bread in his hand.
"LIKE BREAD YES?" he asked me.
I cleared my throat. "Yes, I do like bread, but I'd kind of prefer something else with it."
He looked at me, as if he never heard of anything other than bread was food. "LIKE WHAT?"
"Ham, Cheese, Pickles, you name it." I said. "Mind if I see what you have?"
"YES GO FRIDGE" he half-shouted excitedly.
I slowly got up from the mess of the floor, careful not to trip over anything. I wondered how he could walk across this mess without stumbling over something. Though, he probably has practice.
After finally trekking across the sea of trash, I walked into the kitchen. Luckily, it wasn't as dirty as every where else was. Though, the counters could use a bit of tidying up. I paused in front of the fridge, tugging on the handle to open it. There was nothing in the fridge.
I looked back into the area in which the man was sitting. I looked back to the fridge, checking each of the shelves to see if perhaps there was some hidden food. There was nothing. I turned back to the man, closing the fridge door. "Uhm, sir, you have nothing in here."
The man looked back, the smile on his face turning to a frown. "ME FORGOT TO GO SHOP. AM SORRY."
"Oh, uhm-" I carefully stepped back over to the man, walking to the door.
